Nobody sensible would think that they could put a Graphene machine/process into China and not expect it to be copied within a month. I know NR will tell you otherwise but he would wouldn't he. Protecting IP is a terrible risk for everyone in this market.

Actually I think even NR said they would copy the Nanene process at some point but VRS would always be a step ahead. It's a brave investor that goes along with that.

It has all moved on and Jinan will probably have moved down the list now, once the model is sorted and I think that is in the final throes of the negotiations, so it is good that they are speaking to Hong Kong.

"The LOI envisages as a first stage the establishment of a 100,000 sq ft manufacturing facility to produce and sell Versarien's proprietary Nanene few layer graphene nano-platelets. Versarien will provide its intellectual property (IP) on a licensed basis together with production know how, while the other joint venture partners will provide the factory and funding for plant and equipment.

The second stage objective is the establishment of the first Chinese graphene industrial park, the "Jinan Graphene Valley" including a graphene research institute with funding coming from the joint venture partners.

The total project cost is anticipated to be in the region of £55m.

Versarien said it was its intention to form a wholly owned Hong Kong company which will become one of the joint venture partners, while ensuring the strongest protection of its IP.

The Cambridge investor day was some time back, many that went have never heard of ADVFN (lucky them).

A small example list was given re talks in play 2 or 3 of which are now known collaborations.

So sale price of the product doesn't matter and because I asked I have no idea about business! Oh and because the other manufacturers of Graphene give estimates of production levels, targets, and price points they will sell at that makes them terrible businesses to invest in?

So just to be clear here the trick is just to be resolute in your support for management and put all your trust in that. Don't ask awkward questions like how much do you think you will sell? At what price will you sell?

Well all I can say to that is just as well you didn't back Versarien Cu then Neill's last wonder material that was going to revolutionise the heat sink business. In case you didn't know it was a complete flop.

@44068 ref. Price per Kg. May I respectfully suggest that you have little or no experience within Business, management, sales and marketing? At least not within the high tech arena? Product prices will be based per customer, end use, quantity and repetitiveness of order. A blanket price per Kg will most likely not be quoted. Was it not one of the companies you often refer to attempted to go down that route? Oops.

Billwave: let’s not forget that at the AGM Neill alluded to a possible 5 year development phase for VRS battery related technology, not mere supercaps but something considerably more advanced.

Fred the consensus among the NI LTH last night was we are resolute in our support of the management of VRS and the direction they are taking us. We are also undeterred by the quite obvious attempts of the shorting gang and are steadfast in our holdings so they are failing miserably with us guys

@44071 The answer 3-5 years was given to the question, "how long to achieve mass adoption"? Have you any idea just how big "mass adoption" infers? Tesla has been on the go for 8 years, is it yet described as having achieved mass adoption?
And while you are speculating have you any idea of just how many kg's will be produced under licence if just one of the larger deals on the table comes off? If you insist on speculating at least be prepared to also offer a figure tending to the positive side instead of just your usual negatives. Only fair.

He clearly says "our plans are to be there in the next 3 or 4 years". He's talking about their tech.

Simple question @tini what do you think 1kg of Nanene sells for for a bulk order?

Happy for any bulls or bears to chip in. Just speculating as VRs have never given forecasts on this to my knowledge.
