Actually chill it is more likely the people who bought near the top on the hype (especially on here). I didn't get in until around 50p and have bought all the way up (and down). Many have a VERY large part of their liquid assets in this and it does hurt to see them disappear by over 1/4. It is all very well for those who were in in a very big way from 10p to feel comfortable but for others it is less so. I therefore (feeling a bit of pain myself) have considerable sympathy with them. It is true that the company does have to come up with the goods reasonably soon or the stock will drift down and there will be many forced sellers trying to maintain at least a small profit or even some capital. It's time to be realistic. Neill especially needs to understand that not everyone has millions of shares and will be extraordinarily rich even if the company bombs back down to 10p (almost impossible) and a digit on the share price is not inconsequential to everyone.
Having said that I am happy with the direction that everything is going in and know that every possible effort is being made to get these contracts up and running.

We just need to be patient. We can all see the potential reach of graphene, we're announcing monthly collaborations none of which have failed so far. It might drop tomorrow and it might not drop for another year. Having bought in at 1.70 ish I'm currently underwater but am happy to wait because for me all the signs are there. We just need to blank the shorters (who for me have been getting increasingly desperate over the last two weeks) and wait it out. Like Warren Buffett said, the stock market is where the patient take money from the impatient

Am I sensing a little frustration there spike ? 😫😡🤬

From day one that a few *investors* got on board that I was aware of I did think ohhhhh noooooo and they probably wind each other up messaging behind the scenes, you know who they are 🤔, they won't go anywhere else because they will lose money both ways.

However, then is the time to apply the 95/5 rule, 95% are savvy about the situation, the others are just attention seekers and will do anything to get it .

I did tell Club Sandwich more than once at the start of the year that to expect any of the collaborations to move into commercial agreements was unlikely to happen in 2018.

The exception could possibly be Nike as they are a very dynamic orgainisation.

I've said it many times before but a handful of people have set themselves unrealistic timelines. They only have themselves to blame.

All in all I am delighted by the progress made over the past year. The management have way exceeded my expectations.

It only really the non shareholders who aren't happy! :)

I see NR whining on Twitter as follows:

"I think it is really hard when you’ve been working hard delivering value to shareholders, you’re away from your family and people dismiss your achievements to fulfil their own agenda based on greed and mistruth."

This from a man who who invested the grand sum of £4,000 in what became Versarien weeks before inducing his pals to pay 125 times his price to raise real money. He has shares and options, even after recent falls, ‘worth’ around £28 million, paid himself £200k last year and dumped a lot of stock at 121p back in June.

There are hard working families in this country who make £9/hour and he has the cheek to complain. Shareholders should be livid with this sort of rubbish.

Stop bloody whining NR and sell some bloody Graphene the competition is going to destroy you otherwise.

Club, the meaning of "The next news has to be an order" all depends on how it was said. It could be taken many ways...desperation, knowledge that an order is coming before the next collaboration confirmation, - the context might give us a clue? Can you say?

Club I would respectfully disagree with you NR has said as much as he can without breaking the rules. I would say his mistake if any is to be so accommodating to people. The ‘next news has to be an order’ comment may have been said in good faith at the time, we just don’t know what has/is going on in the background.

Going back to the NGA I picked up on one slide that gave a 2 year timeline from initial collaboration to product being manufactured and going onto market. Serratia if I remember correct recently gave a fantastic oversight into the collaboration process (maybe you missed it). You have to remember that we are in a very strong position at the moment, no collabs have failed they are still ongoing with several global companies, anyone of those on their own could send the share price into orbit. Of course all PI’s here would like to see an order but we have to be realistic and patient and look at the bigger picture. If you don’t fully know the complexities of the collaboration process or have insight It might be better to not comment.

If you are in this for the long term I think you should really choose your words carefully and think about what you are saying as whipping up hysteria and bending the facts is only playing into the shorters hands and spooking new investors who don’t fully know the back story. Aimho

I think one or two of you have broken the golden rule and fallen in love with a share. I have sold down hard and only keep a reasonable amount, all free shares to say. Clearly orders are out of Neill's hands. You have to ask why are companies not jumping on this product and some have been testing for a good while now. Could it be the greatest product to be since sliced bread but there are issues. I don't know but time is marching on with no orders. I want the company to succeed but with all the excitement from the board, we need results.

He mentioned something about orders in a poddy after the finals i seem to remember, in which a 3 tonne annual capacity scale up was announced. To my mind there is an obvious link there. Aimo. Best ellis

“The next news has to be an order.” Why did he say that? Because he's fully aware of the need to prove up the product and the business model by delivering a sizeable order.

His words, not mine. So where are the orders?

"Neill Ricketts, CEO of Versarien, commented: "We are very pleased to announce the acquisition of AAC Cyroma, our largest acquisition since IPO. The Acquisition is transformational for Versarien, adding a profitable business to the group and importantly one that has considerable synergies with our current activities. It provides a dedicated facility from which to manufacture graphene enhanced plastics on an industrial scale."

£32K profit for the year and ZERO Graphene sales. They can produce 1kg of Nanene per day now where other companies can do over 100 metric tonnes a year.

It's laughable!

He has to release news of collabs, collabs eventually turn to orders, if you don't have the stomach for the journey as someone else said - leave it to those that do. You're sounding a bit unhinged now.

Lol club, if you believed all of that, you'd have sold out/traded/top sliced. And yr daughter wouldn't be buying now. This isn't a binary option share, which is the beauty of it. It's understanding the grey ! And as the facts change, so should opinion. Despite what's happening in the world economy, this share remains very well positioned in this emerging 2D industry. Brexit is affecting trade, as you've mentioned yourself. Timescales are variable. What we DO know however, is that The new machinery is soon to be here in december. Aimo. Best ellis

Total tosh CS. Next news only has to be an order if you are a trader. If in it as an investment be patient and get off his back. He is building a great company for you which will reflect through share price in time. Short term gyrations are part and parcel of AIM. Get used to it or get out.

It's because of people like you club who don't understand manufacturing and are ill equipped to deal with the ups and downs with investing on the AIM. One week NR is great because the share price is going up and the next week he's not because it's come down; he hasn't done anything differently, the business hasn't - it's you not him. Belt up or shut up.

Haz - NR may be his own man, but he's not very good at governing his mouth. We've had nothing from him for months now except how excited he is, how well the collabs are going, how blown away by graphene the clients are etc etc etc.Which is all great of course, but you can only do it for so long before people start wondering why, if clients are so amazed by nanene, not one of them has so far placed a significant notifiable order. This is one reason the share price has dropped from 180 to 130. Many people aren't interested in yet more collabs, they're interested in seeing the existing collabs come to fruition. NR has talked the talk, now he needs to walk the walk. In his *own* words, "The next news has to be an order."

Loved your posts from last night Lucky, senden and grabster. Identified totally with your stories about wood.

Mr W order a load of olive wood for our fire...I was horrified! Told him he couldn't burn any of it, far too beautiful!....Not sure what I'm going to do with it all though...ideas on a postcard..#sundaysupplement
