The momentum now on EVs is with the big boys. Tweaking a Tesla is a bit "hobbyist" perhaps. Though raising profile of capacitors to other players too? Though surely they're in the know ?If charging speeds can be brought down then that is the bonus that will seal EVs as the next big thing in transport. (Range is there or thereabouts).

If working on TESLA to make credible difference, would there be only one car that is on the road and having some tinkering? I believe in VRS and I am LTH but this feels like spin/noise that we do not need. Happy to be proven wrong

NR tweaks might presumably invalidate the Tesla guarantee, and will have to notify insurers and car financer of each modification. ;-)

The examples you guys are posting about is why you should get to know the BOD.

That's why I do it. It's easy if you are dealing with used or new car salesman.

A quick trick so you know they are lying in what they are trying to sell you. Concentrate hard on their lips, if they are moving and sound is coming out they are lying. :-)

Let them finish then go through the small print and point out their lies. Watch them go various shades of red and purple as they wish for the ground to open up and swallow them.

I wonder if Neill is having to rewrite the power management software on the Tesla. The software is open source, but I didn't think you could create binaries just yet. Does anyone know any different?

The media make it sound like some junior analyst messed up a formula in a spreadsheet and nobody noticed. The media are complicit in this. They make it sound like the people running the company are victims.

I know the guys well and have been tinkering myself for a long time. It would be great to have a demonstrator that we could show some of the technologies in. I am thinking of doing an Automotive specific event to bring investors both PI and II's up to speed. Anyone interested? Neill talking about modifying his own Tesla👍

Anyone who has worked in a finance department knows that even when the books are out by a few quid someone senior will know about it. You dont suddenly notice a 20million hole in the accounts. The people working there are complicit in fraud. They should be treated no differently than if they had robbed a bank and nobody got hurt.

Indeed snoopy. Auditors come in for criticsm of late for not scrutinising accounts carefully enough. I see aim coffee shop firm pat valerie had shares suspended amid claims of financial irregularities. Quoted on news as being a £0.5b company ! Happy to be in vrs for sure ! Aimo. Best ellis.

elliss - it is possible to bring a private prosecution for fraud. It's what the PRG class action are hoping to achieve against that lying fraud Manduca IF our case against Northland (the nomad) is successful.
