Results news time period is up to 3 months post when financial time period ends.

The close period is one month. The time period for VRS to report is up to the end of December. So the reason not to buy is unlikely to be the financial reporting period.

VRS are talking to so many that news will surely arrive any day soon and that's why they can't buy.

That said, no need for NR to buy any he has plenty.

I have my own milestones I would like to see VRS hit. They are:

By end of calendar 2018: profitability OR a maiden China deal OR a notifiable-large order.

By end of calendar 2019: profitability AND a maiden China deal (hopefully multiple) AND a notifiable-large order (hopefully many more than 1 by then).

That's it. Simple really. That's what I judge the company on, not movements in the share price that the company's mgmt has no control over.

Now let's see if any of that is achieved.

Richard, Just speculation. I believe close period before interim is 30 days, as the interim results haven't been announced yet maybe it's something else. Just imo

The VRS share price should never have fallen to the extent it did - too many nervous Nellie's. Like club says - the fundamentals remain in place. £2 by end of month and much much higher by Xmas. DYOR.

On level2 it has closing price last night as 147 whilst my brokers IWeb say it was 127.5. So the price is showing a minus figure where in fact it is up. MMs - don't you just love them?!!

60 posts still to catch up on but I see Kempster gets a mention.

I did read some of his stuff in the early days but it was ridden with lies so if/when the axe falls he should be an easy one for fraud and the like.

There are bigger prizes than him though he's just an annoying gnat who is no longer annoying if you use filter. He seems to love attention, don't you Timmy. Timmy is a very naughty boy.

I've been wanting to deal with them for years but get too busy. However when they trample across your path and all the lies and deceit is so obvious then it's easy.

I've done this sort of things for years and it can take time. However leaving no stone unturned is the key. I've already had a few contact me offering assistance and some from other shares I'd never heard of.

So the first step is to establish who is legitimate or not. I have worked in teams where bent ones need ousting and they were.

Long road, no rush and there are a hell of lot of shares to go through where the games have been played.

Money am showing last nights close as 147 - that's rubbish, it was 130 so showing nearly 10% down when it's actually up 1 or 2 % on open. Always seems to happen when you are really wanting clear info! Oh well, it's free...

NR is not being flippant about share price - he knows his shareholder base is PIs. NR is saying he has no control over share price, understands more than most the effect of big price swings and is confident that the company will deliver in the end.

Markets fall out of bed sometimes and riskier assets get hit harder......something about kitchens and heat?

Morning all, interesting day ahead, let’s see what happens. Personally I am board with all this shorter talk and would like to focus on VRS. I am still holding all my shares , around 250k and am not selling any. I must say that these are probably the worse two days of my life since I began investing many years ago.
Being a long term holder, I am more interested in the market and economy than shorters.
There was a very wise article posted earlier that advises investors not to check into their platform. Well I am about to do that for the first time in a couple of days, I know what I will see, but I am hoping for a better day. Every confidence in VRS, interesting China comment from last evening. Looks as though government is looking after our back.

If the VRS share price had fallen because of something company-related I'd be concerned, but the VRS story hasn't changed since last week when we were around 180p
