"it won't make him feel good quite simply because of the harassment he gets from all angles over something which he has no control over."

which is precisely why I've made no comment on it. If the VRS share price had fallen because of something company-related I'd be concerned, but the VRS story hasn't changed since last week when we were around 180p.

Versarien partner Zap&Go get an early mention in this new article relating to next month's expo in Santa Clara:

That focus on supercapacitors also plays nicely into the hands of Versarien subsidiary Gnanomat, who will doubtless be mentioned by Stephen Hodge in his Versarien presentation at that event.

Versarien are at Booth Z27, next to Grolltex and close to Zap&Go.

Zap&Go's Headof Technology, Hugh Sutherland, will speak 8:40 -9:00 on the 15th.
Dr Rouzet Agaiby Senior Business Development Engineer at Flexenable, 16:20 - 16:40 on the 14th.
Stephen Hodge, Head of Research at Versarien, 11:00 - 11:30 on the 15th

(local times are 8 hours behind UK times)

Ford have commenced using graphene - it works. VRS make the best graphene in the world (probably). We have 20+ amazing collaborations - the partners aren't testing for a hobby. They need graphene and that's why they have come to VRS. it's just a short waiting game. I won't sell and I pity those who fell for the doomsters and will have lost a tidy sum.

Ian, depends how you look at it with the £10 mill, it is probably just a way of saying as a shareholder (the biggest) he understands the impact it can have on people's feelings.

With everything that he knows he is probably not concerned , just getting the point across that it is all relative between a few thousand and millions, it won't make him feel good quite simply because of the harassment he gets from all angles over something which he has no control over.

None of tech giants took a hit yesterday, and as i posted last night, maybe some momentum to come in us/china trade talks. With us market wobbles, and chinese consumer confidence dented, imf world growth downgrade, we may see some uregency to resolve this trade dispute. If so, and if brexit deal is perceived by market as good for trade, we could see general investor confidence improve, and companies making investment decisions. Eg. Jlr, dyson etc. Aimo. Best ellis

"The market rebounded slightly after news broke that China's President Xi Jinping would likely meet with President Donald Trump at the G20 summit in Argentina next month. National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow confirmed to reporters on Thursday that a meeting was under discussion."

That is some bounce on the U.S. markets. This will be a very interesting day as the technicals recover.

Spot on Shavian. If/when successful, this register will evolve significantly.

It will be interesting to see how quickly this rises as and when it does turn and on what volume.

Could the last couple of days, flush of stock been from stop losses or a forced institution. I hope a forced institution personally because the sooner the stock dries up, the sooner those who invested at the highs will recover their paper loss. This is still a blue sky share, nothing has changed.

HL (SIPP provider) confirmed that they do not 'lend' out my VRS shares. They are solely for my use / ownership. Pleased with that at least.

I am not convinced by Tesla link as Twitter Comms by NR to Tesla look speculative and we were told our man in USA was treading water. If there is more to it then it would be great after a brutal week.

"despite Elon Musk being reported 4 years ago as looking into graphene in batteries, he has on occasions since then been quite dismissive of graphene."

but this is a guy who smokes joints on radio shows and makes dumabass tweets, so...

"It might sound silly but the bit that affected me most was when he said today was the worst day of his life - his words exactly. He said he 'felt bad when he lost £1m when the share price went from 36p to 26p but losing £10m in a day puts things into perspective'."

say what now? thought he didn't care about the sp? ;-)
