08/10/2018 06:20 | Of course, this quote caught my eye by one of the chinese IPCC reports joint authors. Notice his reference to tech ! Hoping 2D solutions could soon be in the mix here ! It's the need/desire to move quickly that could lead to the early adoption of 2D materials than normally expected otherwise. Which may help cos like vrs and shareholders invested in them. Aimo. Dyor. Best ellis. “I hope this can change the world,” said Jiang Kejun of China’s semi-governmental Energy Research Institute, who is one of the authors. “Two years ago, even I didn’t believe 1.5C was possible but when I look at the options I have confidence it can be done. I want to use this report to do something big in China.” The timing was good, he said, because the Chinese government was drawing up a long-term plan for 2050 and there was more awareness among the population about the problem of rising temperatures. “People in Beijing have never experienced so many hot days as this summer. It’s made them talk more about climate change.” Regardless of the US and Brazil, he said, China, Europe and major cities could push ahead. “We can set an example and show what can be done. This is more about technology than politics.” | ![]() ellissj
08/10/2018 06:14 | IPCC report upgrades climate change warning. Think climate change denial will be quietly and progressively dropped now that tech solutions are available, it always was a political strategy. Trump could even turn into a climate change hero ! We shall see in the next 10 years. (In the style of fest) GET 2D ECO SOLUTIONS ON THE AGENDA NOW ! Aimo. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
08/10/2018 02:42 | No.... keep that stock market SHUT!..... because I'm having a lie in, in Tenerife, until 11am.Unless, there's a decent RNS of course. | ![]() festario

07/10/2018 22:10 | So NR is ‘very excited’, too steal the thunder from a VRS legend: GET THAT STOCK MARKET OPEN! | ![]() haz101
07/10/2018 21:45 | Loglorry, I think u will find that VRS do sell Nanene! Sample/ test size quantities admittedly but they don't give it away neither .... and that is the future, where how when etc etc ;-) | ![]() squire007
07/10/2018 21:18 | Loglorry Thanks for dropping in hopefully you are invested in Vrs and life is good . Great to be be part of the home of graphene isn’t it . Ff | ![]() forestfred
07/10/2018 21:05 | Meanwhile, neill tweeted this ! "Neill Ricketts @neillricketts Always a big week, @gnanomat in town , I'll try to introduce Roberto , Aim awards, and loads and loads of meetings." Sounds v positive to me. Aimo. Glalth. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
07/10/2018 20:57 | loglorry I'm out to discredit you. Can you answer one question I have - XGS sciences are based in the US, ITALY. KOREA, CHINA , TAIWAN. Why has VRS been approached by China and the US. I have no idea why? :-)) | dreamcatcher1
07/10/2018 20:53 | The best deceits, Tim, are when a few facts are combined with subtle lies and presented in a convincing way. NR has said that there is spectrum of “graphene̶ Good luck to those holding other “graphene̶ | ![]() johnveals
07/10/2018 20:42 | Tim best to close the short, theres some questions around VRS but this isn't one of them | ![]() sonsonnyjim
07/10/2018 20:42 | I await with confidence the testing of graphene products per proposed iso standards which will provide definitive evidence and quality. And the proposed National Physical Laboratory testing service, which will give notice of quality and the characterisation of graphene products, to indicate their suitability for use in products. And the US graphene council, which will test invited companies graphene and give successful applicants 'verified producer' status. (Of which vrs is the inaugral firm invited for testing its nanene). Until then, everything is opinion. And in terms of opinion, the one that counts is the market, and they value it as they see fit. Thus, I am very happy to hold here. There is nothing more to say. Goodnight. Aimo. Dyor. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
07/10/2018 20:37 | Are you heavily invested in XGS loglorry? I notice the share has made a loss. | dreamcatcher1
07/10/2018 20:35 | Oh loglorry is back is he....yawn | cazzer69
07/10/2018 20:32 | XGS are ramping up production it's totally normal to show a loss at this stage. VRS have no Graphene sales so it's impossible to tell what profits are. If they spend $1m on Graphene they'd show a $1m loss as there's no sales. The only sales lie in the legacy business. I'm not saying VRS won't get there but there's nothing to suggest their product stands out at all in my view. It's only a view though. I'll bid you all farewell anyway for now. I'm sure you are all very happy with your sales progress and your product. | ![]() loglorry1
07/10/2018 20:30 | Don't forget they are just 6 months figures. :-(( | dreamcatcher1
07/10/2018 20:27 | Here is a tech sheet for XGS which states lateral size up to 50micros Vs nanene at up to 10 from memory. | ![]() loglorry1
07/10/2018 20:26 | Shorters really worried about their position is all I can think of dreamcatcher, think I will pass on loglorry's concerns for VRS shareholders 😉😁 | ![]() luckyorange
07/10/2018 20:23 | loglorry1 . Are you a comedian ? XGS quarterly report ending June 30 2018. Revenue for 6 months ending June 30 $1.737,191 Total cost of goods sold $2,320.727 Gross loss $583,532 Final net loss of ( $3.647.872.) | dreamcatcher1
07/10/2018 20:20 | XGS just raised money they are not running out. They give lateral sizes. Their products are not one size fits all. They work with their customers closely. If you want to contact their CEO he'll give you the details you want. I think you might be surprised how well they are doing despite their relatively low market cap (based in their last raise). XGS is just one competing company. There are others like First Graphene doing well. Open your eyes guys you need to wake up to the reality that there's nothing particularly special about nanene. That's probably why after 3 years of collaborations there have been no sales. | ![]() loglorry1
07/10/2018 20:10 | XGS have run out of money and are looking for an IPO last I heard, they have 1 customer. ' serratia - 23 Jul 2018 - 21:49:51 - 22979 of 23358 VRS The world lead in real Graphene (Nanene) - VRS As someone mentioned it I had a brief look at XG Sciences Q1 2018 figures - Cost of sales was greater than sales. ie they sold material at less than the manufacturing cost !! That's before all the admin/R&D etc. They burnt cash at $2.2m in Q1 and had $2.3m cash at the end of Q1. Yes they have 1220 customers but 83% of sales was from 1 customer. The other 1219 customers averaged less than Ãâ 83 % of sales were from 1 product c-500. The designation relates to surface area ie 500 m2/gm. They would like you to believe that's around 5 layers. Single layer is 2630 m2/gm. A fairly recent paper says c-750 is 817 m2/gm. The issue is the lateral dimensions. c-750 gave poor performance in tests as it had very short laterals. It would seem that c-500 would have the same problems. New ISO standards for FLG will require both layers and length. I'd be surprised if they can do it. 😠| ![]() luckyorange |
