05/10/2018 07:55 | I was expecting the Jinan rns next week, before he goes to US, so I think there must be something to that article... | owenga
05/10/2018 07:54 | Is VRS building the China factory or the original proposed JV? | dolores123
05/10/2018 07:54 | Probably nothing new in that article, but will be fun to see the share price first thing this morning... | owenga
05/10/2018 07:53 | Jeez I genuinely dreamt of the China RNS. Oh well, there’s still Monday :) | maisto
05/10/2018 07:52 | Brilliant news this morning! I suspect NR wanted to announce this over weekend/Monday rather than having his hand forced today. All I'll say is, if true, strap in! Will be a great day for Rainbow | a_game
05/10/2018 07:47 | Indeed, it's the 'right deal' that will be signed. In the long term interests of company and shareholders. Per neill and MW. Imo. Best ellis | ellissj
05/10/2018 07:46 | "Imagine a lifestyle share in Jinan in late 2017. They would have signed anything stuck in front of them and would be pumping it to death back over here working out how much they should all increase each others salary." exactly sg.....that's where there genuineness shows through | jointer13
05/10/2018 07:39 | Was it huawei with the 'unbreakable mobile screens' trade minister graham stewart was on about ? Imo. Best Ellis | ellissj
05/10/2018 07:39 | What you can throw into the mix there was the bits Peter Jay said at the AGM which was about Jinan being very keen and near term. The near bit will kick in if VRS think the terms carry the right circumstances for the company and shareholders. As has been said many times before they could sign China deals any day of the week, they're are a number on the table. They will only sign them if they are right for the company. Imagine a lifestyle share in Jinan in late 2017. They would have signed anything stuck in front of them and would be pumping it to death back over here working out how much they should all increase each others salary. | superg1
05/10/2018 07:38 | Possibly it’s the big one and a leak, too much of a coincidence imo | haz101
05/10/2018 07:37 | I think baker said 100 plus firms were engaged with ngi as of last year ? I imagine the this interest will grow exponentially as geic opens etc. Aimo. Best ellis | ellissj
05/10/2018 07:34 | All of which was nearly 10 months ago. I know it's big, I know it's complex: but personally I think it's high time a deal arrived... | club sandwich
05/10/2018 07:32 | The factories were already built and more being built for the intended graphene valley. So that's why it's very important for the China number 3, who treated NR and co as VIPs to get VRS onside in Shandong province. Failure I imagine is not an option. The trouble is other provinces and companies have taken a keen interest. The cunning plan re sign here in front of the national TV crews didn't work. NR only agreed to sign it as a non binding LOI. VRS downgraded it so they could fully digest what was on offer. | superg1
05/10/2018 07:31 | NR must have been misquoted or misunderstood otherwise there would have been RNS. Still an interesting article though and shows that large corporations are taking graphene very seriously. | lovat scout
05/10/2018 07:29 | The building was already there but the Graphene machines were not I expect | 1teepee
05/10/2018 07:25 | I dont know-just posted what was in the article | dafad
05/10/2018 07:25 | Does NR consider it non-material at this time as we already know of its (LoI) initial existence although it could turn out the biggest contract ever.....I would have thought that there would have been a ticker tape parade | anotherdrink
05/10/2018 07:24 | Already built in anticipation wasn't it? I think that is an old quote regurgitated DAFAD. | luckyorange
05/10/2018 07:18 | currently building? with no contract in place? | club sandwich
05/10/2018 07:18 | Looking at the links below areas of interest at this IDtech show in November 14 - 15, 2018 Santa Clara Convention Center, CA, USA - you can imagine VRS could be involved in all of them with their products. Such is the breadth of vrs reach, there's not enough fingers for all the pies this superb aim firm has ! Aimo. Glalth. 05/10/2018 07:17 | Firstly, thank you for the China update. RNS with first production of Nanene? | anotherdrink
05/10/2018 07:16 | Anyone able to tweet that quote to NR-be interesting to see his reply!!! | dafad
05/10/2018 07:14 | Has that let the cat out of the bag then? | rogerbridge
05/10/2018 07:12 | beat me to it davad | jointer13
05/10/2018 07:12 | I get the negativity as I was the same all that time back when VRS acquired 2D tech. Rather than just swat it off as junk I threw in a few questions and started from there. That's when I was told under 10 layers and other factors was key and that anything over that, performance falls off a cliff. Then started a long arduous search for science papers and research on graphene companies. That idiot Ricketts was right. | superg1 |
