There's some hope that the Ian Cowie article on VRS may turn out to be positive; in a recent article, 'British stocks are just my cup of tea' he points out that 'British shares are at their cheapest valuation relative to overseas rivals for nearly 30 years, according to the American investment bank Morgan Stanley’s analysis of equity prices relative to corporate earnings and dividend yields.'

Cowies goes on to say 'Independent statistician Morningstar says the average allocation to UK equities has halved during the past decade, from 20% of the typical investment trust in 2008 to less than 10% now. So, on the basis that I can’t always be right but I can always be different, I am continuing my 2018 investment policy of buying British.'

Teepee - no specifics on any collaboration or any timelines, David Kerr seemed to hint some aren't too far away but no names or specifics. My leg impression was China MOU is nearer than an order

I thought when neill said he slept rough it was for a while like Peter Jones , this was not the case. I wrongly assumed a situation that's all

The AGM was the formal business which didn’t take very long. The Q&A afterwards was subject to the rules governing the issue of price sensitive information. Therefore we were never going to be told or even updated on “everything221;.

The pulse was very strong though.

Just a point.

China deal news won’t be of a low value. If it is VRS won’t sign it so it won’t be news.

There are known risks with China and for that reason it will cost whoever wants to sign up.

As NR has said they could have signed some by now, they can sign them next week.

They will only do so if it’s considered good value to the company and shareholders and for the business

Just reading up on the Haydale circs.

On AGM day there was a vote re share allocation for fund raising. Permission for up to one third which was explained as typical for companies and has been the same for years re VRS.

I just noted Haydale’s dilution re fund raising.

2016 a dilution of 29%.

2017 dilution 39%. 5 mill shares were issued at £1.20 for £6 mill.

Cash burn near £450k per month so based on cash in the bank they need some soon.

If they were after £6 mill again and at the current share price say 30p that would mean 20 mill shares with only 27 mill in issue currently.

A 74% dilution. I haven’t checked the dilution authorities yet.

That would mean 2016 through to YE 2019 shares in issue would jump from 15 mill to 47 mill.

They are in a bit of a pickle.

If fund raising is needed the funds and nomad will be looking at good discount.

Aha Just thought of something.

Conspiracy theory. Note some of my conspiracy theories are known previous events over many years having spoken to various CEOs sounding off about bent nomads.

Imagine Hayd do need cash, they will at some point. Previous backers are over 75% down and to back them again will want them dirt cheap next time.

We don’t know but imagine a fund raise is in play now. In the background Hayd get bullied by the funds and nomad saying no chance re Hayd’s idea of a fair price.

Hayd think sod this we’ll go to primarybid. MMs well aware of the fund raise circs (but they shouldn’t be).

A PI tries to sell 55k and they crash the price. PIs see the small sells and big drops so they fear buying. PB discount won’t be attractive as they think they won’t be able to flip them for profit.

In that scenario the nomad has the thumbscrews fully on to sort out huge discount for mates.

That is a run of the mill example it can be and is far worse than that at times.

It beggars belief what goes on. It’s completely bent.
