It is my understanding onone2 that vrs have no competition at the moment for their highest grade graphene (nanene) hence the high level of interest being shown to vrs from companies around the globe and the involvement of UK govt.

Zagrosfold thankyou for info of three tons per year per machine,so 2 or 3 machines vrs can compete with the competition, you mention under 10 layers is that for a specific product,as i would of thought different grades for different produce eg rather than putting a supermarket own brand oil, in a performance engine one would use a premium brand oil.

By coincidence (or not?) David kerr tweeted this link the other day in response to a graphene market size query, which mentions grabat. I thought it an interesting link re Spanish company... HTtps://stockhead.com.au/resources/why-graphene-is-called-a-wonder-material-and-which--are-dabbling-in-it/

Cheers Spike!

I was actually sat at your table and was laughing at the banter between you and Neill.

All the best!

There doesn't appear to be any useful factual info' (at first glance) to establish if they are yet another example of BS or not.

In their 'News' tab, the latest 'news' is Feb 2016.

It will need so digging, ideally by someone speaking Spanish.

Cheers - Spike

Spike,

I posted a wink at the end of the comment. It wasn't meant to be unpleasant it was meant to be a gentle jibe. Sorry you took it the wrong way.

Hello again,

So many Graphene companies with hexagon symbol and 'G' this, that and the other in the name now.

This one bit new to me:

Grabat Energy, part of Graphenano, Murcia, links University of Cordoba, JV China company Chint.

Talks about 20 production lines from March, 80 million batteries p.a. !

Calls them Graphene polymer batteries.

Any links to our new company? Is it mainly BS ?

Spike,

"There is a very simple convention that we should all follow: starting the post with OT or indeed 'Off-topic'."

Of course! And please excuse us if we take as much notice of this as you took of Neill's one question rule at the AGM ;-)

Spike. How can the maximisation of profit in VRS in the event of ones death be 'off topic'?

sonny, as I understood it (or misunderstood), NR would like to take the MOU with Jinan to the US as 'leverage' to tell the senate to get moving. Peter was very positive regarding negotiations and 'tangible' was the comment on how close.

What I take from that is that the self imposed pressure is on.

OT: - Tax: Not everyone wishes to spend their precious Sunday reading about tax, when they believe they are on a VRS BB.

Does that IHT exemption apply to shares held in a SIPP? So if I ever breach my lifetime allowance could I pass the shares to my daughters?

sandbag....I should clarify that the 2 year rule applies to the shares whether they're held in an ISA or not. The ISA doesn't make any difference to IHT.

Correct sandbad. AIM quoted Trading company shares are exempt from IHT if held for 2 years. Can be really useful for estate planning.

Melf,

I'm sure, then, that you can verify that shares in VRS held in an ISA for over two years are, at this present time, exempt from IHT.

onone2 - 3T a year but it's under 10 layer graphene it produces unlike the garbage all those other companies produce. Only nanene has the X factor.

ISAs are not free of IHT. The value of the investment within an ISA forms part of the total value of your estate on death (I give IHT advice for a living).
