Thx Roger, I saw that explanation, but largely discounted it. On the basis the new emissions tests have been known for ages, and for manufacturers not to be prepared is either carelessness, negligence or an admission their vehicles cannot pass them. In effect a product withdrawal. Obviously, all will become clear next few months. Either way, change is a coming one feels ! Atb Ellis.

Ellis, I believe that there were some product shortages due to companies trying to get emmisions testing to the new levels. Everyone trying to test at the same time so a log jam at the test houses. Even so who wants to buy a diesel now. Roll on EV's

I see new diesel car sales in september down 42% compared to last year. No wonder jaguar on a 3 day week. :-( this dramatic shift in car buying attitudes will surely hasten plans of manufacturers to bring forward new ev models ? 2D ev solutions might come far earlier than thought. Fest only about 10k total in trades for the last hour so just quiet.

I wonder how quiet it will be they announce some day that a China deal has been signed for graphene valley, the gov would jump on that and the media.

There would be 20 posts before you could type 'Get that stock market open'

I'm just enjoying the wait for the forced buyers that are out there to get the stock they need.

We received a non-regulatory RNS on 2/7/18 in respect of the battery technology update
which incorporated the small initial chinese graphene order - must be one of the china non-material signed deals? If no further China news materialises by the end of October perhaps it is time for a stand alone non-regulatory RNS update to reveal the extent of just whats happening in China.

Flag counter in thread header shows South Korea joint-62nd with a count of 10 at present. It'll be interesting to see if that changes after today.

Interesting timing here? Liam fox out in S.Korea. last month UK hosted Zero Emissions EV summit, including a Downing street 'round table' event for car manufacturing nations considering investing in UK. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report will be unveiled in South Korea next month.

Almost every reported trade for the last 3 hours has been a buy.So, there's a nasty sell being worked, which is holding us back from the next leg up.
