04/10/2018 12:32 | Just buying 25K share atm costing 180p. so not far. | ashehzi
04/10/2018 12:25 | Sonny et al, re 12 weeks manufacture time for our machines. This is simply because they are made as one-off's. Given that all (?) metal handling machinery in a modern factory is computer controlled i.e. CNC, they cannot simply stop what they are doing and do something else (for a number of reasons). I would surmise therefore, that the various parts are either made when there is a gap in production that allows for 're-tooling', or that the machines are simply made by batch when there is sufficient demand, and that the alterations done for VRS's version are then done seperately following on from the batch produced. When we have a dedicated continuous production line, it will be very very much quicker. BTW I am not an engineer - so a lot of supposition in the above. Best wishes - Spike | spike_1
04/10/2018 12:22 | But... tick up on VRS is coming,because it's almost 173p to sell 30k, and 170.5p to sell 50k | festario
04/10/2018 12:12 | Its flippin sunny here.... lol 27degs !Puts me in a buying mood :-) | squire007
04/10/2018 12:07 | Ash - Bloomberg is not the only source for shareholder lists but as far as I’m aware they all have to be paid for - I don’t btw, just beg, borrow etc. | lovat scout
04/10/2018 12:04 | Shavian - Herald has a rigid top slicing policy due to the riskier investment profile of the portfolio. I understand why it happens as many of her investments fail to deliver fully so taking profits is wise and there is a perpetual stream of IPOs that need her funding too. It does mean that Herald doesn’t run the winners which is why it’s not for me. | lovat scout
04/10/2018 12:02 | I see that Herald only credits Versarien with their Cu products. Nothing of graphene. I would have expected them to have a more up to date review but I guess if they are selling then they would not bother. | dgduncan
04/10/2018 11:58 | Ofcourse it is in public domain. Like it is said every one can buy that. You got it done for us. Cool. | ashehzi
04/10/2018 11:56 | Ash - it was a printout from a Bloomberg terminal so in the public domain | lovat scout
04/10/2018 11:53 | Turbo excellent point, the Times article could be great for getting word out | sonsonnyjim
04/10/2018 11:46 | 1. Cancelled my level 2 subscription as haven't really been able to understand how it works and how to use the data is shows 2. The drop in share price / new supply could be due to those whose PB allocations are coming through selling 3. Could be a master-plan by unknown persons to bring down the share price before the weekend, giving access to cheap shares, and then sell on rise (hopefully) due to positive Ian Cowie article 4. Will not be sitting here watching the share price and BB non-stop - will dip in and out whilst doing some useful chores around the house. | turbocharge
04/10/2018 11:45 | If takes 12 weeks to get the new equipment to expand an existing facility. It has taken materially more time than that for the equipment to be due to arrive. Setting up new facilities, by this metric, will take many months. Therefore my hope is 3T is sufficient for the near term, simple enough | sonsonnyjim
04/10/2018 11:44 | I've been a fan of Katie Potts at Herald for a while, but I just fail to understand her thinking in dumping VRS as this crucial stage. OK she's made a good profit to date and needs to square her books, but if she gets out altogether I'll think she's lost the plot. I sold half my holding in Herald in August, and am hanging on until she squeezes the last VRS drops out of her portfolio, and then I'll dump her. It feels good to know I have already taken some profit from VRS without actually selling any of my own shares! ;0)) | shavian
04/10/2018 11:36 | Son, do less typing and more reading. The geographical spread will be supported by local production when required. This has been covered many times. | croc8
04/10/2018 11:33 | sonson - won't even be enough if one large collab comes off. If a Unilever-sized company ever wants 600T they're not going to wait 200 years (@ 3T a year) for it! This is why I'm so interested in the JV with the machine manufacturer. Being able to ramp up production (relatively) quickly will be absolutely key if/when orders start coming in... | club sandwich
04/10/2018 11:31 | We're spreading far and wide, I hope the 3T capacity Is sufficient if 2 or 3 show interest | sonsonnyjim
04/10/2018 11:26 | Thanks Lovat, I'm just trying to understand the large declaration of shares not in public hands. Not that it makes any material difference.I suppose we need to add Manchester and Cambridge Unis holding in the non public area although their percentage is not large. | wr63
04/10/2018 11:25 | Liked the words "I was shown a VRS list" | ashehzi
04/10/2018 11:21 | I was shown a VRS list a while ago as of end June 18 and Herald had 2.93% so no more notifications needed. Miton was the only other identifiable II on that list with 2.6% so no notifications there either. Other than the unknown II newbies there aren’t any others as far as we are aware. | lovat scout
04/10/2018 11:03 | I tried to sell some GWMO to get more VRS, .. they would'nt let me! | festario
04/10/2018 11:02 | Just singer left on 173p now. Let's see what happens if any buys come in. Well 173p went in a flash on 175p now. | superg1
04/10/2018 11:01 | We can possibly look forward to that Times article on Sunday then!......On Twitter just now "Hi Neill did you get to speak to the guy from the Times Neill".....Neills reply "Yesterday :)" | psxtalks2u
04/10/2018 10:58 | Singer did hop over the `mm that picked up some PI stock earlier but now Singer have moved to 173p. Buys were around 171.4p but anything over 5000 shares and they wanted 172.7p which has quickly become the price to buy for now. The singer load up this morning may be near an end for that lump. Otherwise it doesn't make sense why they moved off the lower offer and prices to buy ticked up with little volume. | superg1 |
