So if AXIA https://www.gov.uk/government/news/uk-graphene-manufacturer-clinches-korean-deal is old news why the timing of a govt announcement last Thursday and subsequent tweets retweeted by NR on Friday. Is it just stoking the Fire or has something more concrete occurred that UKGOV wants to be associated with

Lovat scout thanks but behind a paywall & I'm not giving those scum
Money but I get the gist - if they wanted to protect British jobs & traditions they should have sold it to kraft instead...

I suppose it has become obvious that UKgov wants graphene and battery technology to be led by the UK, to get an announcement along those lines in the near future pre Brexit will be no surprise to me or many others I would think.

I believe Neill was due to be part a memeber of a panel answering questions, however, I can not see it listed, so maybe it has been cancelled.

An article in the Sunday Telegraph could be why Chinese negotiations are taking longer than expected.

Pcjoe: NR said at the AGM he’d be going to Santa Clara in November, following his appearance at the NGA Expo at Austin Tx Oct 15-17. I see that Stephen Hodge is presenting for VRS at the GrapheneUSA show at Santa Clara, so presumably that was what NR was referring to. Hopefully he’ll use these occasions to let Marco off the leash.

PS a great twitter response from him re GNO back there - we’ll spotted Woody.

Well, he is clearly happy with Gnanomat (queue MP, apologies for misquote - "nobody expects the Spanish acquisition")

Seems like facts to me sonny, government don't want to give money to foreign companies when the tech is here in the uk to do that and hopefully by uk companies with government support.

Graphene bot, I guess that as we get closer to a deal there is the risk that people will get wind that something big is about to happen, in that case we may get a Trading suspended pending an announcement RNS. Having said that some would say that we have already had inexplicable share price rises and I am sure that some of the rise is in anticipation of a china deal. The big issue with VRS is that the shares are very tightly held by the well researched as to the possible effect that a china deal may have. The price could go wild for a while and if I was hovering in the background I wouldn't want to be in the queue when it happens. So other than a sharp rise prior to trigger the above mentioned RNS the only way is to let the market make the price, everyone has a price and some may conclude to de risk on the occasion. It is anyone's guess what will happen, but it will be a great day and even greater as new investors start to recognise that that announcement would have awoken a UK sleeping giant.

There was talk yesterday on VRS private twitter group that if Chinese deal comes off Vrs could be suspended for a short while . I don’t think it will happen I believe share price will just open much higher . Any views on this.

Great link pcjoe. As you read through you can't help thinking of the VRS story. As it is designed to do, I wanted to read the next report Graphene, 2D Materials and Carbon Nanotubes: Markets, Technologies and Opportunities 2018-2028 Read through the intro then hit the price DOH thats the chicken and the graphene egg problem. Think I will have to wait for my SIPP before reading that. Looking forward to an exciting few months/years on the good ship VRS.
