DgduncanRe HL transfer of primary bid sharesI was lucky enough to get some in the previous PB raise and the process of transfer took about a week from memoryFor the latest raise, the current status showing in my HL account is that the auto transfer has started and currently at stage 2 of 5, with no action required by me. I haven't had to contact HL at all for this to kick into motion One thought, did you enter your HL account no into primary bid?Baz

Yes squire the MM part was interesting.

Perhaps when they are so oversubscribed they can filter out those intent on a quick buck.

On the plus side in theory anyone can get funding within reason. EG if the discount is good enough and volumes on the share ok then MMs can participate and simply flip them into the market.

The bad side is if they knew about prior it and short sold prior with no risk.

re PJ

It seemed fairly obvious to me that he was swamped by Chinese interest as posted about before. He was also nervous about saying anything then having checked Jinan has been out in news said how keen they were and how close it is.

If you check interviews others in China have made offers, no secrets there as it’s in the presentation under proposals. It sounded to me that Jinan have raised the stakes to secure VRS and no doubt would want to move a a higher pace now a load of other Chinese interest has arrived.

VRS is clearly hot property in China.

The Chinese have tested Nanene ( as stated) and like it. With comments by the Chinese of the ‘graphene̵7; over there is poor.

As started on this thread long ago. There is a lot of junk out there and the right GNPs are in demand.

That is why VRS are seeing so much big name and country interest with UK gov backing.

No matter how hard the bears try it is not and never will be an AIM scam.

Lucky - well we have a pretty good idea what the negotiations are about: IP and valuation mostly, I suspect. It's hard to read an article about the US/China trade war without seeing accusations of China stealing Western IP, so it's obviously a key concern. Personally I don't think it's possible to avoid long-term, but obviously the longer it can be postponed the better. A maiden China deal by Christmas would be very welcome (possibly Jinan) to focus minds in the rest of China and the US...

Yes, interesting that PJ obviously has price sensitive information that he is worried about blurting out accidently, sounds pretty encouraging to me.

Shavian - I think NR said 250 PIs participated via PB. VRS weeded out some undesirables, so excluding LTHs and new non-flipping PIs, I’m not sure there’s a tsunami of flippers to come and given that they seem to be trickling into accounts, should get lost in normal daily activity over the next couple of weeks.

Hopefully the new IIs are LTHs as they are equally capable as jittery PIs of smashing share price we’ve seen that already with Miton although Herald seem to be less rushed when top slicing.

dgduncan, yes, the HL process is apparently more drawn out than some, but where my money is concerned I'll take secure procedure ahead of speed if there is any danger of it falling into some void in cyberspace.

Having said that, I am hoping for it being days and not weeks before HL get the shares and I can B&ISA. (Would Neill hold news back until I give him the word? Hmm...)

So far: My PB shares went to PB's account at Jarvis. Spoke to two people at HL who both insisted on the completed printed form. (Couldn't do online for Jarvis, some others apparently.) Downloaded form from HL website and posted it. Spoke Jarvis, who said I should forward the Holding Confirmation email from PB to them, when they would allocate me my number of shares. (Had thought it might need to go to HL.) So I did. 14 hours after HL would have received my form, a Progress Bar appeared on my HL account web page, showing Stage 2 reached. Clicked on it for details and see the form received, and sent to Jarvis.

So far seems efficient and I'm happy. And still hoping for big news - soon, but not for a few days!

Don't forget Barclays are one of the people who loan out shares to shorters best change brokers.

PB shares: Barclays’ IT let me down again, completed online transfer form then it wouldn’t “complete̶1; and print so had to do it over the phone.

Bed and ISA: rather than have Barclays perform this exercise for roughly the cost of the spread I thought I’d transfer cash to ISA, buy low then sell high in the Non-ISA a/c in due course. All’s gone well until the sale ... I can’t seem to do it :)

Interesting that PJ has to be so frightfully careful about divulging any price sensitive info... he speaks as though in a minefield!

Shavian - I had some money in my current account that allowed me to buy a few from PB. It was a no brainer but as a LTH they are just added to my pile and not for flipping. When I contacted HL they told me it would be 4-6 weeks before they would be in my account. I also needed to post them a signed form. This is totally ridiculous when I can do everything else on line with HL yet they still need a hard copy with a signature. I did see one poster saying he already had his shares in his HL account and I will be following this up with HL. My feeling is that we will not see a surge in flipping of shares Monday but could be over a few weeks. In the meantime another leg up of the shares might make them consider hanging on to them for longer. The majority of shares will have been sucked up by LTH and the 3 MM. The STH are probably the minority and should not be a major concern to us.

I am sure someone mentioned the gov PR machine kicking in at some point but can't remember where with so much information coming from the AGM? That will be significant for VRS too.

We have been surprised by the lack of selling of new PB shares on Thursday and Friday. However, with the majority of New PB shares seemingly not reaching PI platform accounts until the weekend, we should brace ourselves for some flippers selling on Monday. Won’t bother me.

Hi guysI reached out to peter jay on linked in regarding photos from his China trip. And in true VRS awesomeness he replied to me in the most honest and transparent way. This company is so unique in this and Neill if you see this we can't thank you enough for this interaction Peter JayPeter Jay 7:00 PMHi Andy, Great to hear from you, and thank you (and all the other VRS shareholders) for your ongoing support. To be completely honest, as a Civil Servant, I'm still very new to posting on social media (we are not allowed to post about work in the government) - as well as ensuring that I don't post anything that could be construed as price sensitive. At the same time, I do have some great pictures from China, so will speak to Matt about what I can put on twitter - and hope to share it with you soon! Hope you have a great weekend, PeterBrilliant#VRSFamily
