Club me too, my other impression was that Neill wants to take a working end result eg a nanene enhanced battery made with gnanomat and zap and go to China as evidence of what we can do beyond laboratory results. That's my own speculation

sonson - personally I'd have thought it was the other way around: get some orders in first, get the company's MC up, *then* do a deal in China at a more realistic valuation.

But what do I know?

This tweet says it all fest. The pieces of the jigsaw are in place. It's all about collabs and testing, many with massive globals. Orders will come when they fall. For you, it's probably about managing expectations and what is reasonable. Fortunately the market appears pleased with the progress vrs is making ! Take heart in that, the progress in share price shows the progress in opportunity. Enjoy your holiday. Aimo. Best ellis

"Unfortunately timing on this is out of our control, and it is still our no1 priority, not just an order but a sizeable order. We get orders all the time as per rns's"

In regards to the thought of selling. I have sold my holding before and always bought back immediately. The worry of lack of large sales is a big one but every single other piece of the puzzle is there; the expertise and dynamism of the team, the endless collaborations with great companies, the DIT's involvement, the involvement of graphene's big names, the fact we are establishing the ISO ratings! and of course the universities backing. All we need is that one puzzle piece in place (a large order) and then the sky is the limit. I solemnly believe when the order does arrive this will become unicorn status on the same day. There are so many people waiting for that order ready to pile in.

My belief is it could still take a bit longer but the patient will be rewarded. In the meanwhile, if anyone is selling I will be mopping up shares ;)

Fest it seems that the company is on the path we want but isn't as far along it as some thought in terms of orders, infact a jv with China seems higher up the priority list

'I think we will be saying goodbye to anotherdrink by the end of January'. Here's hoping lucky:). I do take on board your judgement calls. Just can't believe how the VRS stars have aligned in the short space of the past 12 months alone. Unicorn status (£6.51) by VRS' year end possibly. I know....lets breach £2.00 first.

... and in the meantime, the consolidation at 180p is becoming obvious, and pleasing.

Lucky Orange. I understand your post about overtrading, and I'm aware of the concept and the dangers it presents. But you are way wide of the mark in its application to VRS.VRS have engaged in collaborations with so called enormous businesses, despite having limited resources. They have courted vast regions of China and pushed forward with a venture in India.None of this has thus far turned into an order for the merchandise that VRS produces worthy of a mention. That's a massive concern to me.McLaren were prepared to buy a batch 2 years ago, but despite this ground breaking material being about to change the world, no one else seems to want any. Or not enough to RNS at least.Let's stop this talk of over 30 Chinese regions wanting Nanene, and lets first sell some to an entity that we've been working with already.

Neill is aware of the situation, indeed I raised it with him in a tweet at 6.30pm on Friday. It was clear then that the tweets from the cynical one were properly loaded questions. Neill responded but given everything thats going on he isn't too interested in the two bit shorters and their antics as he knows where the good ship VRS is sailing. Ref Philibstar's post about "too many spinning plates"....I think NR has demonstrated that the company will only take on what it can handle (I note the comments about holding off the U.S. for now).

He has also previously said that samples are paid for by clients.

What I read from that is that he intends to make each project a profit centre and not allow any project to sap resources/funds (unless it is an investment like the Spanish acquisition).

Sooner or later VRS may well indeed need to consolidate and concentrate on fewer projects but there is no need for this yet until the choice is forced on us.

I see no reason why this will not take care of itself.
