the one point I came away with has already been covered in that he wants to go to usa with china confirmed so he can put the pressure on.Whether it was intended or accidental he had earlier said he was going to the states mid October.
I also liked the comparison with rugby.He pointed to the pitch and said its all about getting from one end to the other first,the extra cash will help achieve that quicker

Sonson- 'met', no. But I observed him at close quarters at the ID back in March. He struck me then as a truly exceptional person in many regards.

The video shown was for body worn sensors which initially are for knee wounds and are smart phone linked, I guess so the medics or wearer can check the knee progress - I was at the back of the room so couldn't see the video that well. They did say that they were currently undergoing clinical trials though. I believe the company was called D&F Tech?? Also,NR mentioned that Alan Hill was trying to get him out to Washington to meet the senate. A quick search shows J A Hill group are a lobbying company in Washington and it would appear they are already lobbying on behalf of the NGA, hence the pressure being put on NR to visit Washington. He is attending a Graphene conference in Texas on the 13th October though so maybe a push to get the Jinan deal up and running before that (my own thoughts, not something mentioned today).Most other things I picked up on today have already been covered by others but I did also hear NR tell superg not to mention something when he was about to ask a question about something (news possibly) which obviously is not yet out there!

Club have you met NR ? I've asked many questions here (well documented) however after meeting him today I feel a lot more relaxed, we're in at the start imo

I said way back that ISO is not important CS , let it go, we all make mistakes whether it was you or Neill is immaterial now, nobody is calling you over on it.

Don't know if it's been mentioned but they showed us a great little video of where they have put graphene, a medical scanner that is already up and running shows and records joint movements really smart there hoping to put it on there web site, just something that is very low key but already making a big difference.cheers Nice to have met some of the family.

Oh, and as regards the 'imminent' and 'very very close' as regarding ISO from the ID - I know what I heard. Either I'm mis-remembering what was said or NR is: the difference being I had a pen in my hand and immediately wrote it down...

Iain, it's the first time I've met Neill and though I didn't put it in my notes (and should have), the main thing I took away from the meeting was that he is such a charismatic man, a great quality in a CEO! Not only that, he is very obviously full of energy, totally driven and openly excited about the prospects of the company.

We're lucky to have him.

Great day, amazing to meet so many people, I'm afraid I've forgotten most names - strangely enough it's easier to remember usernames though, must be a curse of being in IT (wasn't about to offer to fix the projector, too much pressure!)

I think most of what was said has been covered already but some points that stuck with me:

1) China is just getting bigger - "considerably more than 30" was what Chris said. Peter clearly tired having been bombarded with Chinese business bods flying in specifically to meet with him.

2) NR being harangued to get out to USA to talk to senate and other business reps - they're very keen.

3) Raise was done as painlessly as possible (my opinion) and has enabled VRS to ensure that the allocation was to those who were in support of the company and not those out to make a quick buck (or close shorts but that's my inference)

4) Zap n Go / Gnanomat already in collaboration - VRS acquisition completes the triangle/tripod that was in discussion. Looks like a great strategy, gives a foothold in EU also.

5) Crowded house - function room was packed out, shows how much support and interest there is from shareholders.

6) No sign of Rainbow, Kempster, Kevin Taylor, JakKnife et al. Disappointed as I thought given their ad-versarien convictions, they'd have welcomed the opportunity to voice their reasoned arguments. I also had a bag of rotten tomatoes to throw that have now sadly gone to waste.

NR also said that accreditation is simply not an issue for most of their collaborators. If they know it works then that is sufficient.

Just hope the high net worth individuals don't include Rees Mogg, Redwood or Johnson. Don't want them making any money after screwing the whole country.
