26/9/2018 08:52 | Vrs non delivery on the collaboration updates doesn't bode well for the rest of the AGM waffle bearing fruit. Despite the exuberance of the AGM attandees I suspect that many of them will now be baling out. | ![]() rainbow23

26/9/2018 08:40 | The difference between DCTA and VRS is that VRS produces nanene, a patented special pure graphene that can be used for endless applications whereas DCTA produces graphene with low purity, thus, with limited applications. And as LuckyO said, the trouble with DCTA, is "all high volume low profit stuff" . | ![]() fuji99
26/9/2018 08:39 | Does RED now want comercial quantities of nanene through gnanomat ? RED has big order from German Electricity Companies. | ![]() p@

26/9/2018 08:28 | It's a good point Rid raises re the graphene production line. They key point on that is you have an engineer running an engineering business not an insurance salesman trying to do it. Therefore the thought process to create a production line will be well reviewed and though out re viability rather than an insurance salesman thinking it's a good idea and try it with investors cash. The synergy of VRS acquisitions is that they have staff relevant to the sectors they are pursuing. Scientists don't do sales and salesman are not engineers. That's how some graphene companies are set up. I don't ask my bank manager for a quote to do my plumbing and electrics but that's how some AIM companies operate. | ![]() superg1

26/9/2018 08:25 | Club Sandwich it would need around £5bn to take over the machine manufacturer so I think would stretch the VRS balance sheet a tad. | ![]() chillpill
26/9/2018 08:24 | Trouble is with DCTA is that it is all high volume low profit stuff, but it will be interesting to hear how it has performed in twelve months time. | ![]() luckyorange
26/9/2018 08:21 | ashehzi - "The only thing I like is ... to exploit the $378bn (graphene) application market." - And VRS is one of the pioneers of the most advanced graphene (nanene) available in the market for endless applications. Others may produce graphene because of its low purity, it can only be used for limited applications (concrete etc), but cannot be used for refined and sensitive applications such as semi conductors, aerospace, medical devices etc. VRS can adapt (following collaborations) and supply for all available applications and that is all the difference. This gives VRS a huge lead making the barriers of entry into its domain very high. On top of it the company is led by the most active CEO on offer. A screaming investment to tuck away for the future. In a year, the share price we see today will be a thing of the past. | ![]() fuji99
26/9/2018 08:19 | Mindfulbites The issue Direct have is when the ISO comes in most if not all of what they do will have to be called graphite. That is the same for most of the graphene companies around the world. There are a multitude of uses for graphene and graphite. I doubt investors and backers will be very happy once that kicks in as they will feel they have been misled thinking they had invested in graphene. I'm off to Cambridge uni and the graphene centre for the day in November with some others (auction prize) I'll ask the guys there how to interpret the Raman graphs some use. 99% of the graphene producers out there not put out a detailed data sheet. First graphene who claimed to have the most comprehensive TDS left out the most important bit which is layers | ![]() superg1 |
