They shouldn't put implied timescales on anything if they don't know. It implies shoddy management.

If there is a degree of confidentiality, then they should keep it that way across the board. Putting messages out into the public domain (i.e collaboration results due in two months, ISO imminent) play into the hands of the shorters and make an already volatile share even more so.

To give a timescale at this point would be market manipulation. If it were close just think how many would be buying. Just can’t be done. Wait until it is announced.

Well, there will be a large degree of confidentiality involved potsol, first to market and all that.

I'm not trying to pick holes. I'm just no clearer on what timescales we are talking about here. Unlike other posters, I can't get excited about statements that carry no weight and require a huge portion of interpretation to come to a conclusion. How close, is close? Is it as 'imminent' as the ISO was back in March?

Once one 'goes' (ie signs up), it will be a cascade of others imo. That's the key event imo.

potsol,

how can they all be in long-term testing, if some of them walked away after testing?

I'm not there to clarify the exact phrase used, but are you not just trying to pick holes where there aren't any?

the statement was (by all accounts) "No collaborations have failed. All in long term testing process. Production 'close' in a tangible way"

Are potential deals likely to be delayed until ISO is confirmed (or not)?

I think 'not failed' is a very important indicator. I doubt if these firms will walk away because of commercial reasons. They would have considered the commercial benefits before testing. If testing is positive, the next stage would be to work out how to integrate the new technology into their manufacturing.

Apparently Neill said 'tests' not collaborations. It's all in the wording. You've just proved my point. It's woolly.

If a partner had walked away that means a collaboration has failed. Does it not?

Experts happy with our Graphene, Chinese Graphene does not compare in quality
Protection of IP at the forefront, global manufacturing aim.
Next big push. Neill in California November. US big opportunities, collaborations with some ‘very large’ companies

NGA aware that the US falling behind, want Neill to go to Washington and talk to the Senate.

To be fair, he clearly can not give any price sensitive info at the AGM. "no collaborations have failed", only gives the barest of info.

We don't know if any have have major set-backs, are ahead or on track, or suspended. Just that none have been totally terminated.

But in the setting he is, that's all that can be said.
