24/9/2018 15:02 | 190p just paid ! Gla. Best ellis | ellissj
24/9/2018 15:02 | SuperG.....many of us think that the 3rd leg of the stool is ZAP&GO........if you think so it really starts to make "profitable" sense. | anley
24/9/2018 15:00 | Well you never know who neill might be meeting at man uni ! Returning a favour ? ;) Indeed wtfdik lol ! Best ellis | ellissj
24/9/2018 14:59 | I think justin has sold his VRS stock now | 1crackupboom
24/9/2018 14:55 | I would assume Zap & Go as 'third leg' of the triangle ( I would use 'side' myself BWTFDIK?)which is exciting. I agree that Justin seems a little less excited and I put that down to him having sold. I'm sure it was mentioned on here a while back. | clint fleecewood
24/9/2018 14:52 | "From Friday evening's rns: ".. The Company is currently in advanced negotiations with Gnanomat S.L., a Spanish based company capable of utilising Versarien's graphene products in an environmentally friendly, scalable production process for energy storage devices that offers high power density, almost instant recharging and very long lifetimes for use in electrical vehicles and portable electronics products. If successfully concluded, Versarien will own a majority stake in that company and provide funding for scale up of a pilot plant..." Has anyone picked up any clues regarding the timing of when such negotiations might proceed to a signing? Is NR doing the negotiating or someone else at Versarien? (Do we know who speaks fluent Spanish?) | grabster
24/9/2018 14:51 | Taurus, don't mind non bulls but they have to show some knowledge otherwise just dogs barking in the night. | pshevlin
24/9/2018 14:49 | Any BB that's all Bulls is not healthy. And, frankly, those who disparage them are idiots. Bullish me, subject to deals... :0) | taurusthebear
24/9/2018 14:40 | I wonder if we will see a spike before close from those expecting an RNS in the morning to coincide with the AGM | chimpandy1
24/9/2018 14:29 | The AGM will be also used as a forum for institutions. Once every question cleared, VRS will be part of their portfolio. But, are there enough shares on offer ? That is the question. | fuji99
24/9/2018 14:14 | Fest AGM It's like an investor day post formalities. What you get to hear about is the detail not excluded as material but all the stuff the nomad may have taken out of news or it was deemed not material to release as news. Then add in all the other bits that could be put in news but it ends up as an interim update. Performance in products could be one topic too if an NDA doesn't prevent the mention of it. As the share price has climbed info like that drops off the material news list but for PIs it's material Then add in a Nomad will deem something is not material but also wouldn't want PIs to know about it giving the nomad an advantage. The VRS view is it's either material or it isn't and if it isn't they can tell PIs all about it anytime they like. They 'city' doesn't like it but if they have said it's not material then tough. Nomads want it both ways all the time with them in complete control. I mean how can they operate fraudulenty if they don't have full control. How can they give nods and winks and make some cash if they don't have control, mates rates and so on. That is what goes on day in day out. The AIM is a Nomad's fraud paradise imo. As the Mcdonalds ad says "I'm loving' it" | superg1
24/9/2018 14:12 | The deal isn’t completed, why would NR say to much until it’s in the bang. Interestingly 3 institutions took part, who? The bears and their arguments are sounding very amateurish/embarrass | diversification
24/9/2018 14:11 | I wonder How many lab discoveries are out there waiting for +nanene and other 2D material from vrs ? :-0 imo. Best ellis | ellissj
24/9/2018 14:03 | Vasilis referred to the quality of the gnano staff at the beginning of this weekend. By neills comments, sounds lkke they know their (battery) chemistry ! Imo. Best ellis | ellissj
24/9/2018 14:03 | Thanks ellisj. I had to listen to the podcast in noisy company, so wasn't sure I heard every word correctly. Will listen again this evening. EDIT: Thanks Hew. | grabster
24/9/2018 14:02 | There you go I did tell you. Did you note the comments about the odd events re the share price and the comments that confirm that once the city was aware (inside and confidential) the PS took a dive. I told you its as bent as hell BUT it seems to me VRS said stuff it and went with primarybid entirely which wasn't part off the Nomad or shorter plan. I suspect MMS will have sold short last week expecting to get the stock via primary bid. The evidence that the cunning plan failed is in the share price move today. They tried to tree shake stock and hit a run of buys. I couldn't get any I did try. Instis went in for bids but it doesn't mean they would get any. EG is Herald went in for some and they have been selling like mad in recent months then they would probably left rejected if PIs were there in enough numbers. Think of it from the VRS point of view. Miton and Herald have made millions from VRS and banked the profits so why give them discount to make some more money. Perhaps they approached prior and played hard ball having cashed in millions. All they had to do was hand over part of the big profits they have made from VRS. | superg1
24/9/2018 14:01 | Most points mentioned above, but I like to capture as much as possible. This may be of interest to a few. My version - no guarantees. (I will be compressing it for my notes of course but Neills actual words interest to me. (......"Our first international acq...") VOXMARKETS PODCAST 24/9/18 Neill’s words, as accurately as I could - no editing or "prettifying". Used PBid as most efficient way, for minimum effect on SP, both re drift and the price can get, and minimum workload on Company. Fairly interesting price movements over couple weeks we got this plan in place. Part of a major strategic push, not just got involved in. Known had possibility of coming around. Always stated aim to be sizeable force in battery technology. This ticked load of boxes. Opportune had authority left over to use to build war chest to complete the deal very quickly. [Gnanomat:] a potential customer of ours, very interesting conversations going on with. Has needs, have to scale up process, have some customers we interested in working with, one of our collab partners already working with, so 3 legs of stool in one go. Also hedging bets re Brexit. Graphene attracts huge amount funding from Graphene Flagship. Gives us a European base and is our first international acquisition. As a company [Gnano], they are aligned closely with Uni in Madrid. Expertise in taking graphene, like we manf and turning it into materials required for much better super caps and batteries. An intermediate step to battery companies. Their chemistry and battery expertise is second to none. [Most burning question on Twitter]: Quite surprising that question about PBid. Third time used but lot people don’t know/understand how process works. Talked about working on explaining the process, making sure investors aware and ready for these kinds of opportunities. Will continue to use, love it, very efficient way of raising money, therefore it’s our duty to make sure investors know what’s going [on]. Not everybody able take part. Lot of allocations scaled back. Been able to protect private investors. In less than hour over 12,500 views of offer. 250 private investors took part, plus 3 institutions. Had to raise allocation within half hour. Then was fully subscribed and had close because not enough authority arranged. If had run all w’end would have raised 2 or 3 times what intended. 3 reasons to follow, 1. Exciting field, quickly making ourselves the go to place for graphene and 2D tech, this acq takes further up supply chain and is in interesting area of batteries and s caps 2. Level of connections and contacts with unis, Man (heading now), and Camb Uni and central govt. 3. Largest holder, and been able keep dilution to absolute mininimum to achieve strategic goals. Not enough hours in day, w’ends starting look as busy as weeks. | hew
24/9/2018 14:00 | Zapgo probably | 1teepee
24/9/2018 13:59 | Grabster "one of our collab partners is already working with them." 3rd leg of a stool. Most likely a commercial entity imo. Best ellis | ellissj
24/9/2018 13:59 | Watching the Gnanomat video again since listening to today's Vox podcast, I particularly like the statistics shown briefly in a 20 second snippet from about 0:50 into the narrative, where the GNM#1 product is reported to have huge increases in capacitance, energy density and power density over current industry materials - whatever they may be. Obviously they would have chosen things worth challenging to test against. My conjecture from a day or two ago that this has more than a little to do with Zap+Go is underscored by Neill's mention in the podcast of a link with one of the existing collaboration partners. I hope that detail will come out tomorrow. Also, I don't have the same concerns as expressed here about defence of patents at Gnanomat. In this video they mention IP, which if they are supplying a manufactured component to (say) a battery producer, is not going to be that hard to protect IMO if you can't reverse engineer it. As we know, if such a component is made up with the inclusion of Nanene, even if you could reverse engineer it, you'd still have to find out how to make the GNPs in the way that only Versarien seem to be capable. | compoundup
24/9/2018 13:58 | I find it interesting that Punchline Gloucester - who have been very much an enthusiastic and accurate follower of Versarien - made no reference (yet) to the reason for the fundraise - namely the purchase of a controlling stake in the Spanish company Gnonomat. I am presuming this was deliberate - and that a further story about that will follow when there is enough of an agreement to allow the fullest reporting. | grabster
24/9/2018 13:56 | Good Luck all. I have traded these perfectly up and down for 6 months so the long term goal isn't really of any interest to me. Please be careful as I see many similarities between Graphene and Bitcoin. | letsgetbizzay
24/9/2018 13:56 | I think the 3 legs references one of the collaboration VRS has already dealing with Gnanomat so connecting the 3 companies together. Should make progress for that collaboration quicker and easier? | wr63
24/9/2018 13:54 | No Deramping please | 1teepee |
