It would be great if one of the IIs was the British Growth Fund or one of the British Business Bank funds.

interesting that he said if they'd left it open all weekend (if they'd had the authority to do so), they could have raised 2 to 3 times the proposed amount......

If existing II flipping not and probably no major LTHs selling, the price could've been more. New II won't have shares till Thursday though.

I’d be interested to know who the three IIs are who participated in the fund raising. Hopefully long term supportive shareholders and not Miton, Herald etc reinvesting at a lower level again.

Maybe those going to AGM could try and find out?

From the podcast......The reason they closed the offer early was they ran out of shares that they had previous authorisation to issue. 250 PIs and 3 institutions took part.

Didn't like this podcast with JW. Seemed like JW was not excited as in the past. Nothing more revealed.

Quick notes for those who cant listen until later

Opportune for battery technology

Gnanomat -
Their expertise is taking graphene (like we manufacture)and turning it into the materials required in order to make much better super capacitors and batteries.

So their a kind of intermediate step to battery companies

The chemistry of their battery expertise is second to none

Primary Bid - Efficient way of raising money. 250 private investors took part & 3 Institutions

Unfortunately I will not be there tomorrow but last year I found the agm last year to be very informative and useful. Getting to meet the team and having them answer questions gave me an extremely good insight into what they saw as the way ahead. It also backed up my already established views that NR and his team were the most honest and transparent that I had ever come across in any public company.

I'm going to the AGM because I first bought into VRS in June and haven't met the team or any other ADVFN members. This is a fun community and I'd like to put faces to names. I'm planning on holding very long-term.

I'm not expecting news of an order or any other RNSs. I have no expectations other than meeting people and having a chat.

Regarding dress etc... Sam Nivison said smart casual was fine. And he said a printed screenshot of my holding was fine to prove ownership, because Jarvis/x-o wanted to charge me £25 for an official letter.

Neill has himself said on at least two occasions that I've seen on twitter that he will be updating re some collaborations at the AGM albeit I suspect this will also be issued via RNS ahead of AGM.

Woody, not really worth a trip to Gloucester and back though, other than to meet fellow investors and the board.

Pshelvin there are 100s of companies worldwide in this space USA,India China,Europe.billions of capital has been sucked into this sector.Of course some will succeed the vast majority will fail. Many are honest endeavours others scams.
Companies range from hundreds of millions in cap to tens.To date profits are scarce as costs of production are high and production yields are low. Graphite in its various forms is a material with great potential but is as likely to fail to realise this as it is to succeed.

Re: AGM

Could all those attending the AGM ensure their bodily plumbing system is in good working order; we don't want to be in a situation where we are unable to pass a motion because some of us are constipated...
