31/8/2018 00:05 | I set my alarm at 7.45am everyday mon to fri and check during the day as I don't work on the wards, I am in the community and have a massive amount of freedom. So can do pretty much what I like, as long as my calls get done. But a have long periods, often 7 hours or more where I can study stocks and keep and eye. I may reduce my bet when on holiday to reduce the risk. Thanks for your advice. I did lose a grand the other week on games workshop. Their profit basically doubled and bloody peel *unt said it was not sustainable growth so share price went down about 10% and I got stopped out. Gone up 1000 points since then which was end July. Aghhh!!! | 1teepee
30/8/2018 23:53 | your source for graphine materials! Gives products in different categories, highest quality mostly starting VRS_. Not sure who other suppliers are? | ernestlee1

30/8/2018 23:35 | Teepee re your: Spreadex won’t let me put in a stop loss for VRS, something to do with it not being on the electronic order book. I have to keep an eye as much as I can 'Welcome' to spread betting ;0) 6 months ago the share price went from (round figures) 120 to 60. Can you afford to lose half the value of your spread bet? If not, then yes you need to keep a careful almost constant eye on it. Can you do that if you are employed full time? And when you are on holiday? If VRS were to RNS one morning that they had suspended Chinese negotiations due to unfavorable terms, the share price would spike down very significantly: if so will you be stopped out? or without stops have your position sold by Spreadex to protect them from further unrecoverable losses? I don't know if your account gives you credit, and / or if you will then find yourself in a position where you have to find funds within a couple of hours to cover your losses. And if you can't? As many on this (and other BB's have explained) most spread betters lose money. If you are new to it - odds are high that you could be one of them. Be very careful. If you have real shares and the price drops - you still have the shares. If it was a spread bet - you now have nothing. In fact you may now be in debt. PLEASE be very very careful ;0) Better to have a small 'fortune', rather than just the dreams of what was supposed to have been a large one. | spike_1

30/8/2018 22:36 | Gain since early days for Amazon - 3800%.In 400% time we reach a billion ( £s ) marcap. | alchemy
30/8/2018 22:06 | Amazon. Maybe not the news flow but I don't think I'd have bought it at $500 ... and it's 4 bagged since then | thetrophyman
30/8/2018 22:02 | ... so... just for fun, approx 30k posts on this board, assuming (conservatively) 100 regular posters have contributed... (I know), if I get 95 thumbs up for this post, then that'll be your 95% you're talking about... ? | thetrophyman
30/8/2018 22:01 | I think it was discussed in May/June that salary is paid by HMG. | ashehzi

30/8/2018 21:58 | superg130 Aug '18 - 15:21 - 30327 of 30447 0 12 0 ....... "For the CFO it would have stung taking on Matt and the salary connected." ==================== grabster30 Aug '18 - 15:42 - 30338 of 30448 0 3 0 ".. For the CFO it would have stung taking on Matt and the salary connected..." superg1 -- I thought Matt and Peter salary was being paid by the government (ie, you, me and other taxpayers), and Versarien pick up the expenses tab only. ==================== luminoso30 Aug '18 - 18:47 - 30417 of 30448 0 0 0 So, are the DIT guys paid out of Versarien funds or taxpayers funds ? Like grabster earlier, I believed it was HM Govt paying their wages. ==================== So, do we actually know if VRS or HMG are paying the wages? | sandbag
30/8/2018 21:50 | Indeed. And i have great confidence in the management team. Glalth. Best ellis | ellissj
30/8/2018 21:45 | VRS is going to deliver along the lines of Blue Prism and Fevertree .This company has everything to like about it and today is further confidence of the share options awarded.Really one of the true gems on aim. | snoopy12
30/8/2018 21:40 | Overbrought. The most hated bull market on record from 2008 to 2018 just keeps giving. You cannot value this on the basis of a chart or standard valuation metrics. SG made reference to the valuation of QFI, a £400m valuation based on one collaboration/JV. Newsflow will always drive a shareprice and for VRS, news is only going to snowball. This isn’t without its risks, but if you considered what was in the public domain the opportunity from here is like no other share I am aware of..... Who knows of a share with similar blue sky credentials and throws out news flow like VRS? Name me one in history even? | diversification
30/8/2018 21:20 | It is reassuring to have ones head comfortably above water but if you believe the narrative then VRS has barely begun to deliver on their potential. | johnveals
30/8/2018 21:14 | OK, so he has 345 followers... how much of an audience does this guy need... ;-) Fest.... | woodpeckers
30/8/2018 21:04 | Regarding using two share dealing accounts, you're missing another point. What if there is exit situation and you can't sell from your broker account either they went into administration or their service gets down. At least with other account, you can sell what you got there, preserving your earned profits over time. It is not just lost money but time as they say time is money. | ashehzi
30/8/2018 21:00 | There is no right or wrong about when to buy. Overbought can get very overbought and very overbought can get very very overbought. Fib retrace may or may not happen. There is no guarantee. | ashehzi
30/8/2018 20:32 | Depends what your timescale is trophyman, what will the share price be one year from now is a good question to ask yourself. Verging on the overbought now but it could stay like that for some time should the small 3% rises continue. Got to be your choice in the end | luckyorange
30/8/2018 20:30 | trophy, no one here is going to tell to to just jump in, but I think if you asked 95% of us if we had more to invest, where would it go? I think you know what the answer would be... If you've read the info in the header, you should be able to see what we see... But, as always, there are NO certs... | woodpeckers
30/8/2018 20:16 | Of course there is a limit, I just believe that given time it is many many multiples of where we are now.Good luckChimp | chimpandy1 |
