When a share closes on a day high (which ours did (very nearly) it usually means the following day it will continue to climb - we shall see.

The MM's may well want to drop the price early on to get some shares back, but if it's the same as the last time (few weeks back) it was next to impossible to actually buy at those prices - after all the name of the game was to get back some shares to balance the books.

We shall see

Researchers at The University of Manchester and TWI have discovered ways of using graphene to prolong the lifetime of pipes used in the oil and gas industry.

Published in Advanced Materials Interfaces, the team have found a way of incorporating graphene into a polymer liner used in pipes that transport crude oil and gas from the sea floor.
The pipes are generally made of internal layers of polymer or composite and external strengthening steel. Within these pipes, fluids may be at very high pressure and elevated temperature.
In situations where carbon dioxide (CO2), hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and water permeate through the protective barrier layer of the pipe, the steel may corrode causing the pipe to lose strength over time, leading to a risk of catastrophic failure.
The researchers found that if the graphene was mechanically mixed with the plastic, or if a single layer of graphene were applied, gases were still able to pass through.
However, by laminating a thin layer of graphene nanoplatelets to polyamide 11 (PA11) - a plastic often used in these liners—the team were able to produce structures that behave as exceptionally good barriers.
The multi-layered laminate structures were tested at 60oC and at pressures up to 400 times atmospheric pressure, and were shown to reduce CO2 permeation by over 90% compared to PA11 alone, while permeation of H2S can be reduced to undetectable levels.
Graphene is the world's first two-dimensional material, flexible, transparent, more conductive than copper, and is known to block the passage of helium, the hardest gas to block.
Corrosion costs the oil and gas industry in the US alone $1.4 billion. This technology has the potential to extend the life of the underwater pipework and therefore reduce the time between repairs.
Professor Peter Budd, who led the Manchester team, said: "Graphene has many amazing properties, but it is not always easy to realise them on a large scale. Our work represents an important step in taking graphene out of the laboratory and into the real world."
Dr. Paul Woollin, Director of Research, TWI, said: "This research is an example of how TWI can work effectively with world leading universities through its Innovation Network, and draw on our cutting edge testing capability and in house experts, to identify unique and novel solutions to industry's most challenging problems.
Graphene membranes such as these have the potential to open up vast new markets and revolutionise countless industrial processes, such as food packaging, water filtration and gas separation.

The old cliche of the best things in life are free is very true imo.

So on the money front, I don't care if I miss out on things, everything I have has been earned. All I wish for is to be able to set some solid foundations for the guys I selfishly introduced to this world. They have paid for it with tears and laughter beyond anything I can possibly imagine.

Anyway it's incredible.....As is the radiance of euphoria more like a hash party than an exchange of information and sober discussion of applied and innovative science. Hubris reigns.

The bubbling of excitement vividly recalls a bunch of medical students jostling in a Parisian flat one night in the 70s, to get at a promised and attractive female who brought her husband along for the kicks it gave him.

Today Spike and others have strolled along on memory lane. There are more extraordinary experiences in life than the boring string of fraudsters roaming unchecked through AIM. I am sure Spike has had them. It's nice to share with sg memories of good management and an innovative business model,from which I 'made' £400k then lost in the heyday of Iofina, until Lance Baller suddenly fell gravely ill and the company skidded to the bottom on falling Iodine prices.

Yes Spike, not only do I remember the hustling at Bioprogress AGMs, I even entertained Richard Trevelyan at my home in Wimbledon when he told me of death threats to his children. I was fooled again. He painted a picture of the victim very convincingly, before beating it to Sydney chased by Interpol.

Difficult to believe that one learns from such disasters, but at last after 30 years I have a solid growth portfolio delivering in spades. For what it's worth I give it to you freely ...after VRS, OXB, CWR ,NIPT ,RED, PRSM, WAND, ZOO... all have performed, and are still rising stars....until they are not.

No advice intended except to give you hopeful material to research that is better than newspaper tips. Someone posted very recently that all his profit came from VRS. That follows from an extreme version of Pirato's 80:20 Law, trending to 90:10

The challenge lies in the timing to buy only at the bottom, and if you can't hold to a rising rocket sell only at the top. Brokers will always tell you "never to catch a falling knife..". True but more to the point is the opposite usually true hold on to a rising rocket" that is: don't sell Versarien unless you need the cash.

Neill very busy and happy yesterday and very quiet today usually points to information to follow, or he's lost his phone!

The 50k sell by ade was immediately picked up by others as in the reported trades following his sell, risky to sell between now and Monday I would guess but we will know soon.

Apart from my concern that quite a few on here will be top slicing profits tomorrow, based on what they've said.... I'm still optimistic that a buyer will pick them up.So.... GET THAT STOCK MARKET OPEN!
