It's certainly a very orderly market.Now, they'll give me more for any sells up to 50k, for example it's 149p to sell 5k.But, they won't take more than 55k shares now.

Love that post RTJ! Great analogy.In other news, it's interesting that all day long the max they'll take from me was 35k shares, even above 150p.But now, they'll take 75k shares, albeit at a lower price of 146pIt's 148p to sell 5k.

preemption rights require a company issuing new shares to first offer them to all existing shareholders in proportion to current holdings - a rights issue.

In a faster moving environment, that can be cumbersome and expensive, so it is pretty normal for a company to seek to disapply preemption rights, so that if a need to issue shares arise - say issue shares for an acquisition, or for any other reason - the BoD have some flexibility of movement.

They can still opt for a rights issue if they so choose, or circumstances dictate. The disapplication authority has to be renewed periodically (?annually ?)

There is also usually a limit to the maximum number of shares that can be issued in this way without further authority from shareholders, to limit dilution.

Don't think so, someone (sorry can't recall who posted it) already posted within the last 24 hours that nanotubes were an irritant in their native form but harmless once integrated with material.

Looks to me, given the spread, that they want your shares, hence keep the ask on 150 and the bid on 146, shake out a few profit takers. Smacks of large buy orders being filled.

Agree with Fest, higher close to come.

It's just a lull, I foresee a close between 152p and 155p today.
