The last few months have proven to be a great period for consolidation, this has enabled the companies shares to be transfered into safer hands.

A profit is not a profit until someone sells some shares and for those that brought stock at much lower levels it is inevitable for them to get itchy fingers and take some profit.

However, during the period of consolidation, new buyers take stock from the itchy hands and new price targets are set (ordinarily higher).

My point is the current increase is a lot stronger than would of been the case if it simply went up in a straight line. This week the stock retested the gap and on the basis of the above it will be very intesting to see how this next leg plays out.

If so, tini5, there will surely be a Domino effect as every pizza company follows suit worldwide ;-)

Johnveals, fair point, however, my comparison was intended as backward looking on BUR growth rather than the current position of the company. They didn't need a conventional moat to get to where they are now as the industry was expanding for all players. Their leading position allowed them to gain the biggest share of a growing pie.

If anyone wishes to use the rocket analogy I would suggest we have main engine ignition and lift off but are yet to clear the tower.

Not taking from a charting perspective but from comparing businesses I have mentioned BUR previously (post 7373) as having parallels. For BUR they have been the market leader in a new industry (litigation finance) which was poorly understood by analysts, yet they were able to with their leading position and astute management pick the best cases to invest in and win big on a number of these. For VRS, swap cases for collaboration s carefully chosen by the management team for their potential to be huge or quick to market depending on their needs. As has been posted before and mentioned by Neill it seems aligned to pooling risk and building a strong portfolio of investment in future growth. Similar?Just imho...Let's see how the chart evolves!
