22/8/2018 22:11 | Spike..great posting especially 280. You really are on fire this evening. | phoenixs
22/8/2018 21:53 | Yes Spike, there's a lot of mugs about. If vrs "makes it" though, I'll be long gone. I have my target and that will do. Leave something for the next man. | zagrosfold
22/8/2018 21:42 | Indeed it is Spike - Blackadder style. | skyliteandy
22/8/2018 21:38 | Spike-I agree totally with your philosophy, and sadly for some people tomorrow doesn't always come in life. I've seen this personally by losing 2 very close friends suddenly in their early 40's and as a consequence, as a family we now enjoy life to the full. I'll be 50 later this year, and whilst I'm certainly not as wealthy as some on here, my aim is to continue enjoying quality family life and give my kids far better start financially than I had and VRS will help me do that I'm sure! See you all at the AGM PS. What a great bunch of people on here......with a few exceptions lol TBOB | top button ol but
22/8/2018 21:37 | Zag: re your: I'd rather go to an AGM where the company actually has "made it" I once went to an AGM where there were so many shareholders i.e. the company had 'made it', that it was held in the Albert Hall ! - honest! The Chairman was a Bernie Cornfeld. Look up the name and you'll see what happened to him and his company!!! Best wishes - Spike | spike_1
22/8/2018 21:36 | Rat pat re 28122 I have more. | ridicule
22/8/2018 21:35 | Sky - surely your codpiece isn't big enough for 'skylite' ? | spike_1
22/8/2018 21:34 | I'd rather go to an AGM where the company actually has "made it" rather than just be very promising. I remember watching an AGM (or something) live at The Gherkin in London a couple of years ago where I saw many shareholders all worshipping at the altar of the CEO and his minions where much was promised but nothing delivered. Maybe next year (Rodders lol) | zagrosfold
22/8/2018 21:09 | Johnveals - not at all. I think VRS is the Apple of the 4th industrial revolution, and could have a MC to match, eventually. Maybe even before I shuffle off this mortal coil... | club sandwich
22/8/2018 21:07 | Me and Mrs Skylite have sequined waistcoats with our bb names on. I'll be the one in the cod piece. | skyliteandy
22/8/2018 21:03 | Gosh, what a cracking bunch of folk inhabit this board; an island of civilisation in the midst of the ADVFN swamp. Really looking forward to meeting y’all at the AGM. Did Neill say that name badges would be provided or do we bring our own? I recommend the latter, inscribed with our B.B. names as well as our real ones. It would give this family some extra glue for the future. | shavian
22/8/2018 21:02 | Because of VRS I'll be able to buy a house for my prodigal son. | high park
22/8/2018 20:40 | No use living in a big house with lots of ornaments but no love in it is my mantra .. | hattie1
22/8/2018 20:38 | Agree spike :) ps if your into your history and planes I once stayed at Bentley priory with a mate who was stationed there and in the RAF, great view over London at night from the roof! | haz101
22/8/2018 20:37 | If we're a family it's the Krankees | runthejoules
22/8/2018 20:33 | Haz: As Neill rightly says (as he did again today), we really are a family ;0) Edit: and I would add - and in no small way, thanks to superg ! | spike_1
22/8/2018 20:28 | MJ10 - ;0) | spike_1
22/8/2018 20:25 | Spike - well said, I recently took nearly a month out on holiday to Florida, I never would of went that long only my wife slightly twisted my arm, I’m a bit of a workaholic u see but I always enjoy hols once I get away and enjoy time with my wife and kids, it’s strange because my journey to VRS started in the states with that holiday! Long story | haz101
22/8/2018 20:24 | when it rained my soft top let water in by the gallon | mj10
22/8/2018 20:24 | Holy bananas Spike, that is unreal. Well I've just caught the boating bug but if vrs comes good I fancy one of these. However talking about what could be usually ends up in disappointment but us humans are nothing but ambitious. Must be the lobster in us lol | zagrosfold
22/8/2018 20:23 | Having survived heart failure a while back, what I'd really like is to visit King's Lynn, it looks lovely. And Whitby. If VRS hits £2 this year, and I think it's possible, I might treat myself. | runthejoules |
