Wallbrook: I don’t normally bother to post on this thread but I have just read your ‘research̵7; into the VRS Preliminary Results. Where have you been this year, dear boy? Anyone who regards HAYD let alone AGM as rivals to VRS has clearly not bothered to read and understand the facts behind the headlines. All you need to do is read this morning’s RNS to realise that VRS is the real deal. Haydale is not a graphene producer, but a technology enabler, and AGM have been rumbled as failing to produce meaningful graphene.

On valuations, perhaps VRS should be compared to the early days of Microsoft and Apple, commanding lofty valuations for years before they turned a cent in profits. No, I’m being modest. Think Amazon.

This RNS along with the one on the 16th July - appointment of head of research shows a company with confidence. Isn't people investment just as important as any other? -obtaining the services of people with the right skillset is essential for any business to attain its goals. Opex / capex or whatever ex - NR and the CFO will want a return on any investment for shareholders. Today, makes me feel my £4 is so much closer. An amazing journey.

A bloke called Wallbrook has just posted on the other thread something he laughingly calls ‘research’ into the VRS Preliminary Results, mentioning our chief rivals as Haydale and AGM

Have a good giggle. The poor sap obviously hasn’t got a scoobydoo!

Maybe 1st order is close. Lots of clues. Putting those guys on the books. Mention of scaling up production. Lots of talk on Twitter about company cars. Neill always is 6 months ahead. Explains his calmness in dealing with shorters. We prob have another 10 great rns in pipeline.

Without adding anything to my 2 previous posts today and understanding what's going on, I can only say that with all events and actions happening fast, this is the one share to own and hold for the long run. It is nowdays rare to find a company with a finger in every pie. The opportunity may not come back for a while. Since ARM Holding was taken over, I couldn't see any similar in terms of growth in the UK.

Morning all. I've been convinced for a while now that solid news re ISO / quality assurance will accelerate the company's growth. Now we have that assurance that this high up in their strategic plans; simply a brilliant RNS.

'' focus is on developing a set of peer reviewed standards for graphene and closely related materials that will facilitate the ability of producers and users of these materials to have confidence in the level of performance on a consistent and measurable basis. ''

Bootie

The ones that moan about banning are usually the trolls.

You can see what a mess it would be without the capability. The vast majority prefer the anonymous multi-avatar route so they can't be identified. Well they think they can't be identified. No honour among thieves etc. ;-).

There was no attempt by any sensible poster here to suggest the results would be nothing other than around the figures posted. Some trolls tried here and via other means to suggest big profits and sales should be in play.

It was all about trying to set up a situation to trash the results when big sales were not announced.

It's quite simple if there were big sales it would have come as an rns before the results as it would have been price sensitive info.

The rule is if revenue is 10% out either way of expectation then an RNS would have been required.

People have questioned what is going on in the States but don't forget the collaboration with Dow which will cover a multitude of industries.
