Well I mucked up buying more here this morning rather than Opti. Sure both will serve me well but can see why that's been going mental - not as many deals as Neill's but much more ant-like mcap.

I totally agree. I can't stand social media, but you can find useful information amongst the dross. A personal pet hate is all those out there who think their opinion matters just because they have a forum to air said opinion. I like how Neill generally counters any opinion with fact.

occult - exactly right, I am generally against social media because of it's disruptive effect to peoples social sense of well being (amongst other things), but if it is there - harness it to your own ends - in my case monitoring key VRS related people, nothing else.

For me the most important part of the results will be the forward looking statement. It only needs a positive comment on the China deal or something similar and you won’t be able buy in cheaper. I also agree that NR would not be so cheerful unless the results were positive.

occult - thank you. I do follow him on twitter but didn't see that. He did just post summat about it though. Twitter for me seems somewhat hit-and-miss; If I scroll backwards through tweets I sometimes encounter tweets that didn't show on my last backward scroll.

EDIT: His tweet and picture still don't show for me when I scrolled back just now.. I see his other tweets that day but no Tesla related one.

And would he dare to be seen splashing out cash (even though it's his own of course, that he can do what he likes with) days before company results that are anything other than good?

I can't believe that companies do lodge sensitive information onto the RNS system the day before release is due. Can anyone say for sure that this does occur? Seems a bit lazy to me. If you look at the LSE RNS software manual it looks like you can upload an RNS for immediate release (amongst other options). So why would a company leak sensitive information potentially worth many $$$ for the sake of not getting someone up early the morning of the release and lodging it there and then?

He argues that the Electric Vehicle, battery storage, and solar power, along with autonomous vehicles, are a perfect example of a 10x exponential process which will wipe fossil fuels off the market in about a decade.



Btw, this is based on Lithium-ion technology, Nanene may well disrupt further...

Chillpill, that would fly in the face of Neill's assurances that VRS was now self sustaining.I think the loss will have narrowed significantly, and a possible maiden profit.If that's the case, we could easily see 10 to 15% on the share price on Thursday. I've said it before, and I'm betting on it.
