Checked it out but I didn't get to the 2nd sentence. :-)

I get that sort of thing via junk email too, amazing how many multi-millionaire distant relatives I have in West Africa that have died and all the money is going to me.

Of course for a decent transaction fee and my bank details. My name too which is bit odd as they tracked me down.

:-)

Now look what pops up.............

hxxp://www.firstgraphene.com.au

Go to the site and read about their battery development - the choice is who has the best and who will win the technology race...............??

VRS will be like the gold rush - the ones that made it were the suppliers of picks etc etc.......not the developers/miners.

ELLISS...........The DTI can open over 120 UK Embassey overseas offices for VRS..........what a cost saving that can be and in turn the offices can identify prospects for VRS..................what a saving on marketing and so we go one.

All of this can be set up well within the year Matt is working for VRS.........

Re below article. Ignore the headline and guff. What caught my eye is towards the bottom ; quotes from dominic raab, new brexit sec, ahead of the govts white paper on brexit.
To my mind, the successful commercialisation of graphene and other 2D materials fits nicely into the govts industrial strategy, sitting alongside other new emerging industries. If so, neill and co have vrs well positionened, with matt walker on board, to take full advantage and hopefully become a worldwide leader of a successful new industry/tech revolution.Aimo.dyor. Best ellis.

Maybe a hint that other ISO certifications are on the way...?

Or possibly NR saying 'You want ISO cert? Here's ISO cert, now shut up...' ;-)

"No."
"Ever used a pencil?"
"Yep."

Neill's last 2 tweets interesting. Announcing iso9001 accreditation for ACC Cyroma. Great news and congratulations neill and team for undoubted hard graft put in. Opens doors to deals with other firms.
Plus neill retweets zina cinker of nga association, who were visited NGI and GEIC. Can we infer pres trump does know of graphene now ? I wonder if neill gets to meet with zina too ? Glalth Best ellis

Valuation and why P/E ratio is not the defining metric - good article by Nick Train who is a very successful fund manager:

Key paragraphs at the end:

Value traps

Train conceded value will become so unloved it will have to make a comeback, but warned that some of value investors’ most compelling opportunities will be revealed to be ruinous value traps, due to digital disruption.
“In the end everything hangs on what is the true value of a corporation’s future cashflows, discounted back to today’s intrinsic worth.
“It’s just that during the 21st century to date what looked expensive yesterday has turned out to be in fact far cheaper than most of us could imagine.”

good evening chillpill. Totally agree with your sanguine views.

I very much suspect that we will hear shortly about all sorts of developments

ISO verification on Graphene standards

China

Everything and anything else besides the afore mentioned/

It is extraordinary that little Versarien is right at the forefront of graphene technology and development worldwide.

Zap & Gos tech is up and running as stated - seems to be working fine - it must be if it is part of the McLaren project - what they describe as battery tech sounds more like capacitor tech though - quick recharge & quick and full discharge - working hand in hand with any battery & these rechargeable by same quickly - sounds like a great combo solution - graphene enhanced batteries coming soon as well

tini - you're right of course, but presumably the research/DD phase of every new collab will get shorter, as VRS has evidence from previous collabs to present to new interested parties (perhaps anonymously) and they will have boilerplate docs etc they can re-use or modify.

[edit] plus, of course, as to date, there will be a mix of potential partners - some massive that will take years to bring to fruition, others much quicker. Didn't the apparels deal happen in a matter of weeks? That's why I'm so surprised that nothing at all (that we know of) has emerged from the US to date, of any size...

Who knows exactly who the large buyers have been in recent weeks, however, when you are speaking to people at the top of the corporate and investment banking world then word about game changing technology is naturally going to spread to others with deep pockets.

I was previously a naysayer on China however I have now changed my mind. Thanks to the Govt they are in at the right level.

NR had indicated one particular collaboration recently announced had been two years in the making.

I think therefore that some more patience is required for news to emerge re potential collaborations state-side.

I see that MW liked my tweet about the US office - which is rather puzzling.

We've all been obsessing over China - but of course Matt's role in international development, so it's as likely he's working on US deals as well as (hopefully) Jinan/China?

Slightly O/T but GYG share price today is vindication of VRS strategy(not that it’s really needed) to pursue multiple opportunities with all sized partners rather than put all eggs in China basket. GYG seems like a good business on the outside but is heavily reliant on winning a few big orders rather than multiple smaller ones.
