The holdings post you did is well of date.

EG Lombard odier back then had near 28 mill and sold down to zero.

Last Holdings RNS Miton were down to something like 7.2 mill with no more notifications to come. Herald were down to 7 mill.

That's 14 million between those 2, which I'm ignoring.

It's ok to get that type of post calling it down, it makes you check that you know what you think you know.

Amusing the knowledge that has been gained by all serious investors on here, getting to the point whereby most could answer a question that comes up, that is where confidence begins.

This is my only holding at the moment - and I've never had anywhere near this amount in a stock before. I couldn't care less what the price is doing right now (party because I don't have anymore funds to top up with!).

This is one for the long game - forget the intraday movements, let it bounce up and down, the only people who have to worry about that are the geared folk who risk getting wiped out.

I'll put you on a bet - my money's already invested ;) - that this time next year we'll be sitting much, much higher. So, you can stick your cash in the bank and never watch it fall in absolute value (but probably in real value) whilst you earn 1-2% a year.. or, invest it in a great british biz like VRS and let it do it's thing.

Switch off, come back next Thursday, read the annual report, have a beer or two, switch off, come back in a few years!

P.S. - the sun is shining once again in the UK! Go out and enjoy folks if you can :)

Absolutely final topup of 2978 shares which takes me to 300k shares. Most I have ever invested in anything before. Can't see how I can lose but as Macmillan once said "Events dear boy, events". Year of the Dog though, so should be ok.
