I get the distinct impression the markets are holding their breath over China. If/when it happens the share price should increase significantly. In the meantime the shorters are having their fun - and if China should fall through they'll have a field day...

I assume he means as individuals in previous businesses they have run WFOE. Much better to have local buy in and involvement. but who knows, sun is very much shining today, lets hope for a nice RNS to make it a cracking weekend!

Shavian - I too read it as meaning that the company has 'done it' in the sense of already attempting WFOE (and not the 'done deal' interpretation).

Club: re ‘running a WOFE in China’. The comment ‘trust me we’ve done it’ surely refers to running a WOFE (or WFOE to give it its proper acronym) and sadly not a hint that the China deal is done. But we live in hope.

The junior fund manager from HK I met on Wednesday (see earlier post) mentioned the proposed Shanghai-London share dealing proposals. As far as she was concerned it was already a done deal. She did not know if it would extend to AIM but could not see why not. If so it would be an absolute bonanza for VRS if/when any China deal gets done. Shorters beware!
