22/12/2020 08:33 | Hi Boys and Girls and all those in between. Wishing you all a happy Christmas ( I know a bit over the top ) and a better new year Well can't be much worst can it !!! Cheers POB (Andrew ) | pooroldboy55
22/12/2020 07:41 | elsa Hikma expects imediate revenue from Advair this financial year to March, ie 3 months of $30m and from April 2021 to March 2022 at least $150m. So $5m bottom line to VEC this financial year, and ongoing $22m per year. None of this is priced in yet. | volvo
21/12/2020 21:11 | Broker forecasts are 5.18p this year (about to finish) and 6.13 next. Cash will be approx £225 million assuming GSK payment (taxed at 10%) = 38p. 15 x 2021 earnings plus cash = 130p. I'm guessing the numbers ramp in 2022 when Advair revenues start really building. Anyone know the broker forecasts for Advair? Thanks See broker share price targets are 126 to 145. Average 132 | elsa7878
21/12/2020 18:17 | Thanks a1ord53 | gbcol
21/12/2020 17:09 | GBCol, just checked with supreme court site no news yet . Court of appeals- no news either. Will post,if any news of course. www.supremecourt.gov | a1ord53
21/12/2020 16:01 | Bought a few more here on the confirmation of the GSK monies and the realisation that Advair was a big deal. Totally insulated from UK virus and politics. Should be one of the first to recover imo. | volvo
21/12/2020 15:16 | Hi a1ord53, you normally have your finger on the pulse with the legal case. Have you seen any confirmation about GSK making a petition or not? The 30 day time limit has passed. Thanks in advance. | gbcol
21/12/2020 15:15 | I am continuing blame market makers ! SP being continuously manipulated! From brokerage side - no new statements after decisions of appeal court and Advair approval. Look like all hate Vectura and making money on a short side. | a1ord53
21/12/2020 13:48 | Yes agreed, and the only person you're playing the game with is yourself. I'm holding for now. | peddlers
21/12/2020 13:46 | It's all a game - gotta try and learn how to play it | richtea2517
21/12/2020 13:44 | Hikma down 2,4 % and Vectura 5,3 % | a1ord53
21/12/2020 13:41 | That's an absolutely disgraceful drop in share price From 127 to 115 in a day | peddlers
21/12/2020 13:34 | Oh jeez so tempted to top up here | richtea2517
21/12/2020 12:43 | No problem, Norges Bank buys more and more... | ambiorix1

19/12/2020 16:41 | In invest in a whole range of stocks from boring blue chips paying a decent yield to very speculative micro cap Aim stocks & the blue chips will never multi bag & the micro stocks can ,& fortunately have ,multibagged . I have a large holding (for me ) in Vec but I have never thought of it as a prospective 10 bagger ,which may enable early retirement if an investor has a large enough holding .My best hope is that with continuing positive newsflow (starting with GSK accepting defeat following the great Advair news on Thursday )our share price next year could recover to 150-180 & if the positive newsflow remains ,our CDMO business is seen to be growing & we put some of our cash to good use ,perhaps we can then look forward to a further increase to 200-250p -but as much as I would love to see us at 500p -that would be much further in the future & assumes we remain independent for long enough to achieve a very good return from here .My view is there is a greater risk of a takeover at below value -which we have all seen many times before | base7
19/12/2020 12:09 | While Vec has certainly not (yet) allowed us to retire early it's on an interesting trajectory now. Feels like a company with an ethical and purpose driven model. Let's see if it pays off. Certainly glad I've been patient with this one. | richtea2517
18/12/2020 23:50 | Intercare takes me back a long way but as I recollect a decent exit & very happy for it to be repeated here! | base7
18/12/2020 21:14 | Lancasterbomber - Possibly 5am (gmt) tomorrow morning (=their mdnt)? | boadicea
18/12/2020 21:10 | Cardinal Health has taken over generic pharma manufacturers in the past (e.g. Intercare which I once held). It certainly has the muscle if minded. It has (had?) a 50/50 joint subsidiary with CVS. Not sure if it would be interested in the 'D' factor. | boadicea
18/12/2020 20:55 | Have we run out of time for a Glaxo appeal now? | lancasterbomber
18/12/2020 20:40 | Recipharm (which bought Consort Medical last year) has just announced it has agreed a takeover by large cap PE firm EQT. Might be a potential buyer in 2021. They also manufacture Flutiform I think. Probably a few synergies. Any views? I suspect that the takeover multiple for EQT/Recipharm was higher than Vec. | newbold120
18/12/2020 19:51 | I don't see how VEC's new CDMO style business strategy would fit with GSK - or any takeover by a similar player. Wouldn't it kill it stone dead? They might fall prey to private equity or a CMO outfit wanting to branch out but who has the muscle in that field? | boadicea |
