Polaris. If you believe in the company my advice to you under current scenario is to slowly build a stake in the company. That way you will average in, so to speak. This share could trade at £1.20 or 40p over the next few months. Nobody really knows!

The name of the game is to still be here tomorrow. VEC remains the company I know the most about from the list I invest in. I hope to have the opportunity to rebuild here in time for the expected H2 news. You win some, you lose some. ;-)

Polaris Totally understand that ,I’m looking at some of the FTSE 100 companies but feel it could be a little early just yet may be drip feed a little in over the next month

Vectura currently ranking 290 out of (FTSE) 350.
Re-entry looks nailed on.
Funds buying in?

Best - i was in capital preservation mode and believed that other opportunities presented a better short term return. I was totally wrong. That happens. It's about a £70 k mistake right now. :-|

It’s remarkable what’s happened in this share price in the last 10 days and I really feel for Polaris but am allso slightly surprised with is in-depth knowledge that he would sell at that crazy level.
But as they say hindsight is a wonderful thing and it could have Got even cheaper and who knows it may still do.

I too continue to hold and have been putting a little more
to work here, could Skyepharma really become a gem after all?

The intraday retracements seem short lived, seems like there is still strength here, may regret this but I’m holding on.

Out for now. Watched this too many times hit high 90s only to retrace to 70s...good luck to holders. Will be back if significant retrace or buy back higher with significant news.

I have to say, selling some and watching share price rise is a lot better than my usual trick of buying more and seeing it fall.

Just trimmed a few more but that’s definitely me done for now and I suspect I’ll be buying them back within the week. When this dipped under 86p this morning I thought 80p would be the next level to go not shooting back over 90p but certainly not complaining.

Look to early 2018, IMO. This looks like a classic inversion of that move. share price should settle back into the 90-100 p range if i am right...it might overshoot on the upside before and short term traders knock it back down into the channel. Believe me, had i been trading it i would also have sold the trading holding today, assuming this to be the case.

This is a bit surprising as I couldn’t get an online quote to sell anything over £500 this morning so had to phone up and leave it with them for “at best”, which was a bit risky. Got 88.6p which I was very happy with at the time!! At least now I know that I know nothing about this game! Oh well, still very happy to see this going north and long may it continue.

Can funds buy shares that are looking to get promoted even before the actual promotion or do they have to wait for it to actually happen? If they can that may add fuel to the rise.

Next review for entry is 3rd June so plenty of time yet...I was surprised by the drop as this should be little effected by current turmoil. I wonder if they will announce another trench of buybacks or hold back on the spend to see what opportunities present.

Yes - the March reshuffle date already passed. Next is June. Q2 numbers are going to be bad for a lot of companies so a market cap of £500 M is likely to make it.

That’s interesting about the FTSE 250. Think we have missed the March reshuffle cut-off so assume next one is in June. That’s an eternity away in this climate.

It's ranked in the low 300s in market cap right now, so yes it is up for automatic re-entry into the FTSE 250 as of today...

Think it’s down to me guys. Trimmed 10% off my holding this morning, taking profits on those shares I bought in the 60p’s recently. Didn’t understand the fall to 60p, didn’t understand the bounce to near (and now over) 90p. Will buy shares back if share price dips significantly again but would rather my remaining 90% carries on rising as it’s my largest holding by some distance.

At this rate we could be heading back to the 250 what with most shares heading in the other direction.

I did say on the results that a normal market would have VEC trading at around 105 p with the added value of the litigation to come. share price continues to be strong today, but i'm all-in elsewhere and so cannot take advantage here. You make your bed...

I feel for you Polaris - been there too many times in a bear market. I just sat on my hands - been in this so long that I couldn't bring myself to sell but wasn't prepared to commit even more money until the retrace was confirmed, and even then only a small amount. Still not quite sure why the share has recovered so well as I have seen no direct link to Covid relief but happy to go with the flow and sell the extra I bought when the rise seems to have petered out
