LM, why not explain the full story? Are you getting desparate or something?

The directors were awarded shares for meeting performance criteria (perfectly normal). The one I looked at - Russ Houlden (i suspect the other directors are the same, perhaps you could confirm)- sold enough shares to cover the tax liablilty on the shares he had been awarded (perfectly normal and usual). He started the day with 72,700 shares, and ended it with 111,157 and no further tax liability. Sorry if you are short and suffering, but even if you are, I think you should try to post the full story behind the bare facts, even if they don't support your view.

But where is the bottom?

This share moves within a range with little variation within the range, providing that there is nothing to frighten the horses. I think it tried to move out of the previous trading range last year around April May. It made another attempt this year and the "break out" occurred. Now the interesting point is £7:50 the new base line £8:00 or around £8:50 ready for another break out.

You pays your money and makes your choice. In the meantime keep collecting the divi.

Hard to assess the impact of the OFWAT squeeze on the future earnings with so many varables. The household bill fall clearly is politically desireable ,much anticipated and therefore discounted in the share price
But how the expenses will change over the next 5 yrs cannot be known , only guessed.
I suspect the increased certainty of the price changes does , at least , make a bid more likely.

"Average household bills fall by a further 0.6% to 2.3% in real terms over 2015-20 period"

Hmm could've sworn I put a link in here but it's seemingly vanished.

I think so.

Options expiry this Friday which may move the price around a bit if people are closing or rolling positions.
