Yes - do you have any HSBA by any chance, maurillac? If you could drop those, it might be very helpful.

Seems like bid speculation at 826p.

816 hit my sell limit for my trading stake ; 6% in four weeks after costs looks like easy money to me.

Not being a chartist - seems to me that if it can hold on to £8 till closing bell next stop is around £8:75 achieved in 1999 and if it passes that the record price is around £9:50 achieved in 1998.

But then who knows. As a non-chartist I cant see anything.

Well done, I was wrong; I do hold but it's a little beyond my understanding to buy more at these levels.

Looks like 'Heads I win'. We have a breakout rather than a double top by the looks of things.

With the benefit of the retrospectoscope , Oh no it wasn't.

Finger creeping to the sell button , but not my main holding...

I think that's the top for a while.

Double top and back to 750? I wouldn't bet against it. But then again, I wouldn't bet. This could go either way.

Looks like the dip down to 750 was just a technical correction. Back to highs. Onwards and upwards.

Concur with what you say..Was just joking about the trader bit. Tend to do similar as yourself.Profit on the volatility where I can but maintain a holding long term.

More of a investor than trader , but I like to profit on market illogical volatility occasionally.

I take your point about Ofwat , but with a General Election on the horizon , further political posturing about utilities seems likely to me.

I don't mind which way it goes ; if it drops I will buy more , if it rises I will sell some! What I don't like is a static share price , though at least the compensation here is a reasonable yield.

Don't say that - you might be deemed a trader and burned as a heretic :)

Suspect your wish will be eventually fulfilled.

Really not sure. Holding up well. Wasn't the Ofwat pricing regime more or less agreed and discounted by now? Finger off the pulse in that regard.

Waddy, I was rather hoping it'd be tickling 740/650 :)

Have a look at the boards suggested above - I agree - try just filling in "confidential" and see what happens.

Good to see the £8 barrier being tickled again.
