09/6/2014 18:52 | Not selling Disney though; well maybe if it hits $100. | philo124
09/6/2014 17:39 | I agree waddy. The market always seems to like round numbers, so any sign of wavering once it hits 900 and I'll be taking my profits as well. Having been in since the lows of last December, there is a decent profit to take - and no tax as it's in my ISA. Wonderful things ISAs. | lord gnome
09/6/2014 17:25 | Much easier to be wise after the event. Sell and regret. But enjoy your profit. I have sold some but holding most for the moment , but I still think there is a high chance of a sharp drop to buy back on. | wad collector
09/6/2014 15:08 | Clearly neither have I. | philo124
09/6/2014 14:55 | Closing in on 900. I wouldn't want to sell a share with a chart like this one. Picking a top is as difficult as picking a bottom and it's an art that I have never mastered. | lord gnome
09/6/2014 08:47 | Sold; locked in profit. | philo124
02/6/2014 20:14 | Sold out today. Originally bought as a long term hold but it's had a decent rise for a large cap since purchased last Dec so have decided to bank the profit which was over 5.5 times income after costs. Can't ignore getting 5yrs+ dividend up front. Will look to get back in when the opportunity next presents itself. GLTA. | speedsgh
02/6/2014 18:59 | Lots of ifs and uncertainties about fracking. It could boost UU. but you have to regard that as a possible bonus - if it happens. z | zeppo
02/6/2014 18:02 | Closed most of my positions; share price has risen a lot; may be getting ahead of itself? | alphorn
02/6/2014 17:44 | I bought United Utilities about a year ago at around 700p, because at that time there was talk about them owning a lot of land in North West England, and the mineral rights, which would include Fracking. Now that the government is much more keen on encouraging this, I am surprised that no mention has been made of it recently. Does anyone have any knowledge about what is happening on this front? | bastide
02/6/2014 12:13 | Too early with that sell , but 875 will sell another lump of mine. | wad collector
19/5/2014 14:01 | Probably a wise move. The air's certainly starting to get a bit thin at the current price. | speedsgh
19/5/2014 13:53 | 848 will trade out my last months purchase. I acknowledge that this may miss a bigger gain , but the market could easily fall a few hundred points in the short term .. | wad collector
15/5/2014 09:40 | Rumours are sadly just rumours. Buddy can you spare a dime? Or at least let me re-cycle your old laptop. Overweight in water so everything could go down the drain. Was heavily invested in a fruit wholesaler until everything went pear shaped. z | zeppo
15/5/2014 09:11 | He could afford to buy a whole new house to keep it in , if the rumours of his great wealth are substantiated... | wad collector
14/5/2014 16:05 | Zeppo will be able to afford a new computer then so that he can continue to track the share price! | lord gnome
14/5/2014 10:14 | The share price is not freezing ; continues to spout upwards. | wad collector
12/5/2014 17:07 | Thank you Lord Gnome! z | zeppo
12/5/2014 16:48 | Don't have a problem zeppo. Sounds like time for a new computer. | lord gnome
12/5/2014 16:40 | ADVFN 'freezes' too much. Is it my computer? Or is it to make everyone stare at banner ads etc? z | zeppo
12/5/2014 16:21 | Any particular reason for today's exuberance? Not that I am complaining mind. Have the bid rumours resurfaced? | lord gnome
12/5/2014 16:05 | And my last for now 835 limit. Still holding plenty. | wad collector
12/5/2014 15:23 | There you Go. | philo124
12/5/2014 13:16 | Off topic I see selftrade have capitulated on their info trawl; "Importantly for customers who have already received requests, it announces that, taking into account feedback from our customers, we no longer require details about source of wealth. " On topic I will be guilty of trading again if my 830 limit hit. | wad collector |
