I agree waddy. The market always seems to like round numbers, so any sign of wavering once it hits 900 and I'll be taking my profits as well. Having been in since the lows of last December, there is a decent profit to take - and no tax as it's in my ISA. Wonderful things ISAs.

Much easier to be wise after the event. Sell and regret. But enjoy your profit.
I have sold some but holding most for the moment , but I still think there is a high chance of a sharp drop to buy back on.

Closing in on 900. I wouldn't want to sell a share with a chart like this one. Picking a top is as difficult as picking a bottom and it's an art that I have never mastered.

Sold out today. Originally bought as a long term hold but it's had a decent rise for a large cap since purchased last Dec so have decided to bank the profit which was over 5.5 times income after costs. Can't ignore getting 5yrs+ dividend up front. Will look to get back in when the opportunity next presents itself. GLTA.

Lots of ifs and uncertainties about fracking.

It could boost UU. but you have to regard that as a possible bonus - if it happens.

I bought United Utilities about a year ago at around 700p, because at that time there was talk about them owning a lot of land in North West England, and the mineral rights, which would include Fracking. Now that the government is much more keen on encouraging this, I am surprised that no mention has been made of it recently. Does anyone have any knowledge about what is happening on this front?

848 will trade out my last months purchase. I acknowledge that this may miss a bigger gain , but the market could easily fall a few hundred points in the short term ..

Overweight in water so everything could go down the drain.

Was heavily invested in a fruit wholesaler until everything went pear shaped.

Off topic I see selftrade have capitulated on their info trawl;
