Seems to be falling again.

Is there not an update due next week ? By the way the share price is weakening it might mean the update is not going to be good - new management going to throw the kitchen sink in and get rid of all the remaining bad news in one shot ?

Main thing imo is to ignore the broker alert content. Not really relevant - and just see what market is thinking, if anything

Pretty well what we were saying badger, not just barclays, other brokers too. Often the notes follow the price. Makes sense in one way, if price moves outside of expected limits, it's worth visiting to re-assess the business. Clearly we've moved outside of expected limits here with TLW.

Barclays are amazing. After a collapse in stock price, they downgrade

I pay real time alerts on brokers stumpy. But i just class them like a price alert. ie do i need to adjust, can i add etc - and check market

the content of the alert itself has little relevance example had to check when you asked prices etc

Yes, and they often call it after the fact or 20% after reversal

they are just good mostly, to find counter value

none was there for tullow in market reaction - so all short remains

..............

mostly just good to snowball retail your way, get a few more percent locked down.. maybe a stop can be adjusted etc etc

Yes, good call from HSBC. Not sure how much broker notes matter, they often follow share price movements in which case they matter not a jot. I don't ignore them though, it's just not always easy to see how to use them for trading. That's particularly true in this case as TLW is a wounded beast. Easier to use them on FTSE 100 companies without 'acute' injuries.

Not that it matters much but may make retail think

16th december, HSBC called reduce, 160 to new target 50. They were closest callers

re - mattress

You better put a cover to the mattress or soon you will need a new one
Do the same for the share certificate unless is already spoiled on being under the mattress before.

The meaning of overweight stock- he or she thinks that the stock will perform well in the future and it believes it is worth buying

Jamie

There is nothing to talk about at the moment, apart from oil down share price down and not event RNS of who is buying or who is selling of the Institutions.

So till something new comes along a bit of BANTER of the clever ones ( mattress and Stalker ) is OK.

Is it possible that these posters you miss, have in fact stopped posting because they've realised that all of the work they put in has not resulted in good investment decisions or that there simply isn't very much to say at the moment, we just have to wait for the January and Feb updates?
