I recently traded out of Tullow, looking to re enter the shares at a lower point (owing to the poor technicals)....however reading the latest Apache release, i am even more convinced that someone will now pay big dollars for a farm in on Tullow’s Guyana’s licences. I started to rebuild my holding towards the close today and will buy more on weakness.
Yes, the shares could shift down to the low 50’s if the selling is aggressive, but i think that there are many sensible remedial measures Tullow management can take to restore production and cut costs. I believe if oil prices remain above $60, free cash flow can rise to between $300-400m for calendar 2021 without doing much. What the market needs is a thorough update and to feel comfortable with the debt levels.
For those trying to pick bottoms (never advisable) you should remember the enterprise value and stop fussing over the odd $200m. Play big picture or get out ! Booty

Those large trades were done earlier on and reported as usual after 4pm
Most likely where sell and that is why the share price moved lower
