We're at 59 so depending upon what spread you're offered SR, you'll likely be heavier short now or soon. Will be interesting to see how it progresses (as ever; stating the obvious).

Congo Lake Alberta, Uganda deal, appears the uninitiated think TLW is a one trick Ghanaian pony. Au contraire.

I assume you can evidence all that? Re porkies and name changes

Or is it just an assumption without any substance again ?

Easy cast stones.

Ref. - I've held short positions longer than most investors held, in some instances

It could be true, but there are plenty of porkies on your post
Maybe that is the main reason for you changing - nicknames - once too often and many posters put you on filter.

I did know your both leanings

one can be a holder and still short

shares tend to hit resistences and can then fall back to a support

this is trading or lets say ping pong

when it hits support one might wish to buy and expect it to return to yesteryears

re - SR

You did not do much of research before posting, as I am a holder and SR at the time was a shorter.

I will be happy to have a super day for TLW

Not a nice thing to say for SR but I have the poster on "Filtered" for a few days now after posting once too often.

So your guess is just that

SR, I laughed out loud at that, not because I think it's nonsense (I have no idea), it just tickled me. 'Gerbil rally', can I used that myself in the future?

Just use a guaranteed stop loss and set fixed risk to it. Easy then. Far less risk than any buy side here are probably carrying

Booty I have to say that I can't really evaluate that side of things very effectively. I'm not tied to a single stock so I can't afford the time to try to be an expert. I don't argue with your views, I've seen previously that you post good stuff. I just look at price action, here and elsewhere and try to take advantage of rises (long) or falls (short). Personally I wouldn't short this even though I'd have no problem envisaging a fall to the 41/42 area (gap close on 2h chart) or lower. The reason being that I think an out hours news announcement is more likely to hurt longs than shorts. At the current price level TLW is in a range that I think will start to offer upside (I can't see the future and could lose here). For that reason, I'm trying logs. I'm currently long at twice the position size I held just below 61. We'll see. I'm still keeping it small and not tying to get rich quick. It's speculative. Even if everything you say is right and as I say I don't argue with it, you have to factor in time. We could get bad news before resolution. The current CEO could be confirmed as permanent and if she is doing a good job, I think that could provide a boost. Reason being, that if there was a high chance of this being 'really bad' (not that it already hasn't been proved), then if she accepted that position (if offered) it might be viewed as a vote of confidence on her part. Some buying by the board would also help (sensible buying such as went on at ENQ and looks to be paying now; or such as is happen with REA and looks to be paying now). With enough 'ifs' you could put Paris in a bottle and it takes time to resolve the 'ifs'. That's the short term problem for me.
