09/12/2019 16:20 | Yes, that's what Bob said as he was betting big on black at the roulette table. Didn't quite work out for him, and now he just reminisces whilst having a doobistani and flat white. | goblin99
09/12/2019 16:20 | Complete overreaction. Remember Total valuation on recent Ghana acreage deal. Then remember up to date reserve audit and RBL facility. Then throw Wood Mac’s $6.5bn recent valuation at $60 oil. The confirmation of the Ugandan deal will settle balance sheet nerves and rerate the shares as early as a fortnight ? provided of course the original deal is revived to a large extent. Tullow is committed to $175m of capex on Ghana but apparently we should not expect any improvements in production...sounds stupid to me . It is obvious that expanding processing facilities on the FPSO will allow increases in production. A statement from the govt of Ghana as to why they have not drawn down on free gas while paying for ENI production will help draw a line on some of the over prudent assumptions made by a board running scared. I have just bought back a decent position at an average of 43p. GLA | bootycall
09/12/2019 16:20 | I'm really saddened by what has happened here. I've been a holder in the past and sold over a year ago but I've always considered this to be a good share. Haven't expected to see today's price at all. I'm really worried that this could get worse having seen the warning signs from Thomas Cook there seems to be similar bells ringing here. Those of you who are thinking that you're getting a bargain be really careful. This is not good news for those of you who are loosing money here and you may be tempted to average down but be careful. | dlewis1
09/12/2019 16:20 | Probably -Just goes to show broker tips and coverage are always a sell | bigsi2
09/12/2019 16:19 | Hawkind9 Dec '19 - 16:11 - 36342 of 36355 0 2 0 Genuinely hope it works out for you whites. Horrible to see people lose money and experienced it myself. We all know insider info is rife, so would CEO walk if Carapa was sweet commercial oil??? Thanks Hawkwind..... (To many gutter snipes getting off on real peoples misery) so your words are appreciated... That is always always an issue... Insider info is a possibility... However, I would hope (I like to believe the best in people rather than assume the worst) that Ms Thompson CBE would have scrutinised and demanded all information be made available.. Paul and Angus have been pushed rather than walked... I also think that should Repsol be known to be sitting on unpublished information that heads would roll there also... So for that reason I remain optimistic regards Carapa... Heck we have to hold onto something on days like these. :-). | whites123

09/12/2019 16:19 | What an awesome drop. 71% in one day! Not something you see very often. Is this business completely bust now, because that is what the share price is saying, if i'm not mistaken? | givememymoneyback
09/12/2019 16:18 | Was Morgan Stanley that was recommending it a buy recently (and buying I believe)? Anyone know? | stupmy
09/12/2019 16:18 | Got to be in it to win it with balls | datait
09/12/2019 16:17 | Must admit, even I am surprised at the fall today. Have no position in this, watching and thought an entry point circa 38p would be appropriate. Either way, buying/selling on a day like today is pure guesswork, and makes little sense unless you're betting on the fall. | goblin99

09/12/2019 16:15 | Massive sympathy for genuine holders! Ones that are catching a slippery wet falling knife when there are many other shares out there, absolute madness | lgraham86 |
