Rights Issue will be below 30p imo. Best to wait until then before buying for the medium term.

Result of Carapa will be crucial here over the next few weeks.

At this price Carapa has been priced in to fail and some.
Heavy oil find has been priced in to be not commercially viable.

No assets priced in..

In August 1996, the share price was 58p.
23 years later it became 44p.

Im here for exactly the same reason. Pure blood bath, but firstly we are disregarding assets and secondly, set up nicely for a buy.

Agree, prior to yesterday..
Today she is acting Executive Chair..... Her statements will have been meticulously scrutinised and with an air of caution.
The previous downgrades (Warnings) will (One hopes) be the catalyst which means they are now clear of all bad news..
Assets are being totally ignored here..

My opinion of course hence the reason I have skin in the game..

If we got to 140m trades today, which we probably will, 10% of the company will have changed hands. Notwithstanding the day traders. Must be a lot of that going on within the 140m, or whatever the final tally for today is.

Yikes - that's a huge punt. The lady in question is a non exec prior to yesterday. The CEO and other main board 'expert' left swiftly. There is thorough work to be done to ensure they manage investment v free cash to service debt et al. Seriously, I've read this statement multiple times, and having say on PLC Boards, there is nothing certain about any of those statements

How many have caught a falling knife here today? Madness

Mental mate people buying in the 60s earlier just as a gamble

I have.... I have sold off other holdings and have a > 200,000 share exposure.
Not based on catching a falling knife, nor based on madness, but based on what Ms Thompson CBE has told us.
Looking forward to receiving news on who the new CEO will be.
Looking forward to an update on the heavy oil, will it or wont it be commercially viable to produce (Its already priced in as non commercially viable)
Looking forward to results of Carapa drill (Already priced in to fail)
Looking forward to the update in Jan and whether any asset sales will follow.
Looking forward to receiving confirmation of hedging prices.
Looking forward to seeing POO increase..

Some may call it madness.... I dont... I call it seeing opportunity and acting upon it..
