06/12/2019 13:33 | OT I was never criticising the efficiency nor credibility of the company nor what it has achieved. I did say it was sound as a pound. And have always supported the management’s handling against serious headwinds. I was talking about the necessity to recognize the market and how it really is -not should be. I was echoing Mark to be honest. I have always said if you don’t like it then sell. I was never suggesting that was my own position. Bon appetit | nocents

06/12/2019 11:49 | Nocents, only t&t oiler doing well is txp (up a few percent over year) and that is because of a very significant gas find not their underlying business. TXP was 9p (so down about a third exactly in line with trin) after last update but recovered once gas was found - but even then the market seems to be underplaying significance of the find. Point is the investment proposition was different so not really a fair comparison. There are obviously exceptions to the rule, in the stock market there always will be but my point stands if you look at the data - oil and gas stocks are massively out of favour compared to the last few years. Trin has performed badly, I am not disputing that, and I am as disappointed as everyone here as I am down well into six figures here from the top but if you truly think management are doing a bad job here then sell but if you think they are generally making the right moves then hold on or buyProbably not making my point very well here as sat on a bus on way to Xmas lunch but hope it makes some sense. Apologies for the rambling! | otemple3
06/12/2019 11:38 | I remember from the old times that there is support level around 6-7 p | kaos3
06/12/2019 11:29 | Where are the directors’ buys at this giveaway price? Where is the dividend to keep us invested? | nocents
06/12/2019 11:26 | Many other oil stocks are doing well. In spite of the ecology trend. Because the world works on oil. Even other T and T oil stocks are doing well enough. This is to a degree Trin-specific. The company is in the best shape ever. But salesmen need to advertise their warrs. Many would walk past a newly refurbished or brand new shop with great value goods if they did not know what was inside and there was nothing pointing this out on the windows. I’m not sure what Walbrook PR are actually paid for. I don’t see any PR. Roadshows are now over. Overtaxed drilling continues. Oil will likely stay $55-58 no matter what. I agree with OT that the company is as sound as a pound as it’s ever been. But where are the adverts on the shop windows? The shoppers are the market. | nocents
06/12/2019 11:04 | Yet PTAL is doing well:) | bmnsa
06/12/2019 10:47 | Prince, I'd agree the share price is but is the underlying business - not imho as operationally and financially we will end the year in the best shape since pre suspension, but that is why I am invested here still. Guess the question is was it massively over priced in the past or is it underpriced now. This is not Trin specific, oil stocks are out of favour generally - is this a new reality or a temporary over reaction to the climate change ethical investing debate. My view is the latter and reminds me of tobacco stock in 1999/2000 but only time will tell. | otemple3
06/12/2019 10:42 | Because they 'know all the ins and outs' which we are not privy too:) | bmnsa
06/12/2019 10:35 | I just don’t get the selling. Endless. On and on. Slow car crash indeed. Why are Trin ignoring the market? | nocents
06/12/2019 10:32 | Thought the seller had ‘moved on’!? The reason is not sellers or volume...its just a dog. You can jump on my back for that but if you can argue against this since June 25th 2018 then im all ears..even a year ago we were at 16p. | princebuster2
06/12/2019 09:49 | Seems the seller has millions to offload, 8p coming soon | astorcourt
06/12/2019 09:46 | Well if I privately owned TRIN I would not be drilling, I would be reducing the workforce and I would be knocking on Imbert’s door to remind him that a few simple tweaks for active drilling companies would rectify the slow car crash they are presiding over. | mark10101
06/12/2019 09:15 | Gas and oil output down | spellbrook
06/12/2019 08:50 | Surprised they are giving 9p for 150k sell | spellbrook
06/12/2019 00:12 | Nocents, selling is not a problem, TRINs volume is a problem. Volume is created around news/strong story and TRIN in their wisdom do not panda to the markets need for news. Looks like they are going to push for 2 months without news this time and the last news we had was Q3 results and not well received either. Q3 results could have been countered by any number of more encouraging follow up RNS’s but was not and still has not.... What appears not to be understood by the TRIN team is when you fail to deliver liquidity in a stock the market can become exceptionally irrational in both directions. For all the talk of a seller, without a holdings RNS for over a year you have to assume it is a few sellers with less than 3%, so something that could be cleared up in a few weeks with greater volume. Let’s hope they give a reason for volume to increase soon. | mark10101

05/12/2019 07:54 | Very good to see oil strengthening, if we can get above $60 it may ignite a bit more interest in the sector. | mark10101 |
