16/5/2024 16:26 | TXP Bankruptcy risk in distress (RED), according to Stockopedia? Some don't believe the deal will either work or go ahead. | lexus880
16/5/2024 15:57 | A rival bid anyone?! | aqc888
16/5/2024 15:22 | TXP certainly looking like a poisoned chalice. Wonder what all those accepting shareholders are now thinking. Perhaps withdrawing their support; and this gets voted down! | skyship
16/5/2024 13:08 | Touchstone at 33.5p now… | masterfly7
16/5/2024 12:33 | Pavey, my sentiments entirely, I dare say we will never find out how much of our money failed Trin management get paid off., no doubt they will have negotiated generous deals for themselves. I just hope TXP can deliver and, like yourself, I will exit as soon as my loss becomes tolerable. I too am then done with Aim interesting. | nafafa
15/5/2024 17:57 | I share your thoughts, the AIM market sucks - apart from Frontier IP, which I hold in high regard. | aqc888
15/5/2024 17:21 | ADVFN and bbs in general are full of people making ill thought out comments based on little background knowledge but for any TXP shareholder to suggest that this is anything but a great deal for TXP.....that would make them "SPECIAL"!!! I do not intend to post on any TXP board and will sulk along here(alone?)after this deal is done.....and it does look like a done deal. If TXP do manage to produce their predicted year end figure then that will be my cue to wave T&T a not so fond farewell. | pavey ark
15/5/2024 15:59 | Many holders who came in on the back of North. They are very diary orientated and get grumpy if things go off script. The Trinity deal is definitely off script. | davidblack
15/5/2024 15:20 | We have been sold down the river. There is really no alternative, as the motley crew don’t have a decent forward plan. We can reduce TXP debt and fund Cascadura and Coho until Trin onshore drills. Txp will doubtlessly be a Motley Crew also, so they will need careful monitoring. Important not to fall for false promises again and to watch our backs. Big sell off at Txp today. The deal now not looking so great. But it’s better than the alternative. The bod really did screw Trin up when Bruce died. Buybacks at £1 and you can’t then fund a drill and sell at a theoretical 62p. Glad to see the back of them after they have destroyed our share price. Scandalous. | nocents
15/5/2024 15:06 | I will vote for this nonsense deal as I am just fed up and I cling to the rather pathetic belief that anything different must be for the better......famous last words !!?? With the fall in TXP share price we are in a very silly position....Q1 cash was $9.7m (VAT, cash, debt)....with every chance of net cash of over $12m by the year end. The current value of the deal is $27m ....so our board seem to be going along with selling TRIN for c. $15m . I make the year end revenue of TRIN to be c.$70m .......yeh!!....$15m seems about right ....in their world ...with their payoff !! On a brighter note the cash can pay down some of the TXP debt....that's nice....it's nice to be nice and as the TRIN G&A figure is almost $8m a year it will be easy to knock a few million off that....after the departing TRIN board are paid!!! | pavey ark
15/5/2024 14:46 | Norweign angry holders that “Their Plan” isn’t running like clockwork. | davidblack
15/5/2024 14:09 | EGM should be announced soon. Unless another bidder, which I doubt. Txp at 35p which is lowest since Lockdown 2020. Overdone. Cascadura newz was not awful and f/y guidance remains unaltered. | nocents
15/5/2024 11:54 | The arbitrage between TXP and Trinity is narrowing, sadly to the downside as TXP is barred from saying anything positive about the merger or anything else before the Trin vote. Dull days. Txp sell at 36p by 1.5 gives 54p with the Trinity offer at 53p so a 1.85% risk of the bid not happening premium. | davidblack

14/5/2024 22:03 | Some of the shine has come off the TXP bid with the disappointing update today. The next couple of weeks will be the prime opportunity for anyone else to make a move they might be considering. | aqc888
14/5/2024 09:31 | Understand. My concern is that in Q3 guidance changes! Small/midcap E&P has lost the upside IMO, financing is too challenging and the ESG momentum too strong. Looking across my portfolio of c 15 investments 5 are in O&G, 4 are significantly underwater. Always a similar story - jam tomorrow that never materialises. Thankfully investments outside of the sector have provided better performance. I do not discount someone else making a move on Trin in the next few weeks. | masterfly7
14/5/2024 09:14 | Thank you. A courteous response. I feel there are good opportunities elsewhere but have lost many of my Trin shares doing this-almost all in fact. With an ave. of £1.28 I don’t wish to crystallize loss and take more risk. Cascadura output decline is not the whole of this new company nor its prospects. 2024 guidance remains unchanged so it is a partial irrelevance. | nocents
14/5/2024 08:48 | No rubbing intended. Like you I am significantly down. Clearly the ship may turn but have heard that for a long time and see better options for my shareholdings elsewhere (outside of O&G to be fair). Genuinely hope this plays out well for all holders. | masterfly7
14/5/2024 08:40 | The graceful and professional thing to do would be to exit quietly without rubbing current holders’ noses in it. | nocents
14/5/2024 08:33 | Trin is a leveraged play on TXP (9% down so far today). TXP chart over the past 18 months looks like Trin - both down almost 60% over 2 years. Can’t see any point in continuing to look for the turnaround in either co. I’m out | masterfly7
14/5/2024 08:11 | Jumping ship | masterfly7
14/5/2024 08:11 | Well, luckily sold my last few TRIN at over 54p yesterday. Market not liking today's TXP update. Makes the BoD's decision to sell TRIN even more absurd. A crass sell-out at a stupid valuation. | skyship |
