05/6/2017 17:09 | Slightly muted response by the market probably due to the fact that $240K a YEAR is not exactly mega but has certainly got potential if Glencore decide to farm it out to the rest of their mines. | piggyinthemiddle
05/6/2017 12:14 | I must admit I was begining to think that no orders were coming. Now one big order like todays couod be just the start. If it has proven cost effective here then why not in the rest of the world. | amt
05/6/2017 12:05 | >>>>Larv I am not sure how you came up with a figure of 10k? Surely it's more like $390K per annum for the next four years ($240K of which will be completely new business), see my notes from the meeting in the Woolgate Bar last March regarding pricing for new itrack2 contracts: | timbo003
05/6/2017 10:17 | Glencore is by far and away the biggest mining company in the world by the way. | amt
05/6/2017 10:08 | I think that you miss the implications of the deal. " Since then, Glencore have been evaluating the iTrack system and have now approved the new iTrack II system for use in its mines. Orders have been signed to upgrade the existing iTrack systems at Ravensworth and add iTrack II to a further 40 trucks at Ravensworth (63 iTrack II systems in total)." It refers to mines plural, and the system has Glencore's approval. This is actually a bit of a departure from early days when individual mines were responsible for their own consumable spending. Glencore are a very big mining group and if my memory serves - and bear in mind Glencore buy and sell mines, and mothball and re-open mines - I would guess they have more trucks ready for iTrackII then are iTrack systems out in the field currently. I haven't the time to go through their mines and guesstimate the total but a quick scan shows a 38 here www.mining.com/mmgs- Zinc is in short supply and this snippet encourages belief non-coal mining is on the up: McKinsey forecast that barring large-scale substitution by aluminum and other materials or a significant increase in recycling, primary copper demand could potentially grow to 31 million tonnes by 2035 as per capita usage rates in emerging markets, particularly in China, approach levels in developed economies. The prediction represent more than 40% growth from today's annual demand levels of around 22 million tonnes. You can search for more here. | dieseltaylor
05/6/2017 09:50 | I think its definitely worth announcing, let's fact it we are not exactly suffering from a glut of newsworthy events. If this is potentially the first of many such deals then that's fantastic, but the stock market clearly remains to be convinced. | albert_einstein
05/6/2017 09:44 | I suppose its because its the first to sign up. It shows it must be viable. The share price went up more on Friday than on todays announcement which is dissapointing. | amt
05/6/2017 09:34 | why announce a contrct worth less then 10k | larva
05/6/2017 08:35 | The disappointments of the past may not be a reliable guide to the future. | drw1
05/6/2017 08:35 | At last. More please. | gnnmartin
05/6/2017 08:25 | Indeed, but we've seen all this before. | albert_einstein
05/6/2017 08:18 | ''we look forward to our expanding relationship on an international basis with one of the largest mining companies in the world." Investors might like that. | drw1
05/6/2017 08:13 | Certainly grounds for optimism here. I think we are heavily dependent on Translogik to come good in the near to medium future so news about the continuing adoption of our tech is to be welcomed. | piggyinthemiddle
05/6/2017 08:09 | Is this the beginning of something big or just a tiny splash in the ocean? | albert_einstein
05/6/2017 07:14 | Glimmer of hope. The share price went up on Friday is this the start of a recovery. | amt
05/6/2017 07:09 | Best part is 'itrack2' has been chosen over competitors. This in my view bodes well for the possible outcomes at other on-going trials. | drw1
05/6/2017 07:06 | Great news today | tachman
02/6/2017 22:43 | It would indeed be good for us long term holders - who have held faith with the B o D for years now since Bishop - to give us some encouragement, even if its just a post on this board from Melvyn ! | peterblok
02/6/2017 22:03 | The real concern is that it`s not going to happen at all! | piggyinthemiddle
02/6/2017 21:49 | I know. It's potty. I thought this year would be our year, but I just don't think it's gonna happen in the next 7 months now. Que sera, sera. | major courtenay
02/6/2017 18:48 | But look what one little buy does! | sojourno
01/6/2017 11:54 | Hey ho. Looks like we're dribbling into the 50's. | major courtenay
01/6/2017 08:07 | Soj, The share price reflects the fact that they aren't signing any deals. All the potential in the world is meaningless if management cannot transform that potential into deals. I would think trt are among the companies with the least newsflow on the whole of aim, a market that is generally driven by newsflow. What do management expect to happen during these lengthy periods where there is absolutely no news or nothing said at all? Have you ever considered that the management might well have been the right people to save the Company from the abyss but not the right people to actually take the Company forward, despite their best intentions?. I have seen little evidence since to convince me they are, we've already been forced to sell off part of the family silver just to keep going and deals have been few and far between. | albert_einstein
31/5/2017 23:40 | Instead of P for potential and what it could mean 'Launch' is another one, as in Upcoming launch, future Launch, The Launch, anticipated Launch and so on. Commonly used by companies bringing new products to the market on the back of raised investment (cash from PI's, institutions (using the public's money and the like) to either : 1 Really mean it and endeavour or actually deliver on doing just what was said 2 Get somewhere between half way to what was said but ultimately not amount to much. Those running it still get a good living out of it but eventually the cash runs out and the business fails and your money with it. 3 It was mainly spin and speculation perhaps with good intent at the start but there was a cow to be milked and boy did they milk it and the same result as in the last sentence of option 2 crashes down on you. Anyone for 'Launch' ? | jenniferzz
31/5/2017 23:19 | P for Proactive. The BoD came forward and saved the Co, they have turned the Co into something that had a decent income, an actual business, 4 in fact, several actual products and an EBITDA profit for the first time in it's history. The shareprice does not reflect the value, work or potential of the company, AIM is brain dead like that anyway, but it only costs in the risk of another round of heavy dilution and nothing but. | sojourno |
