06/12/2018 11:57 | Microlise obviously sees value, potential and opportunity. And who can blame them at this price? | knowbodyyouno
06/12/2018 11:52 | Arthur, but positive against your recent valuation (0p) | dc2
06/12/2018 11:10 | Well, positively against yesterday's share price, but not so positively against the share price a couple of weeks ago. | arthur_lame_stocks
06/12/2018 08:42 | Not sure anyone ever doubted that there would be a placement Slarty. I certainly didn't and said as much here. The question was always - how many shares and at what price? This has now been answered. Positively, in my opinion. | knowbodyyouno
06/12/2018 08:31 | It's worth thinking about this bit re:Microlise:- "increased opportunities for the Group both immediately and in the mid-term"." Can we expect a big contract announcement in the very near future? | michaelmouse
06/12/2018 08:31 | And there we have it, keep the lights on placing as predicted. | slartybartfaster
06/12/2018 08:29 | Annual Report from 2017 - i bet this sticks in JW's throat this morning, so in 2017 they were getting near £3m from Microlise in orders - now they have to give up 22% of the business Product revenues reduced by 35% to £5.5m (2016: £8.4m) as we ended our contract with Microlise and continued to withdraw from our contract electronic manufacturing operations. This strategy will continue into 2018 and is planned to lead to a further drop in product revenues. | keepquiet
06/12/2018 08:17 | Ps no one is calling them management gods. | babbler
06/12/2018 08:16 | Hello again :). Its more who they did the deal with but thanks for your concerns :). Might get spiked at 21p might not but once the annoyed investors leave it should rise. Imo. | babbler
06/12/2018 08:13 | "cant be that bad" Price collapses from 100p and they do funding at 22p, just because price was slightly lower does not make management gods now | dave4545
06/12/2018 08:08 | Gl. Likewise. But got to hand it to them can't be that bad if they managed premium placing at 22p | babbler
06/12/2018 08:03 | In for a trade - but awful BOD. | kemche
06/12/2018 08:00 | market cap of 7mil and a investment by Microlise ,shares are cheap so lets see what the market thinks. | ashtree2
06/12/2018 07:58 | Yup. And at near 52 week low got to be one of the top risers today. | babbler
06/12/2018 07:52 | The funding at a premium is terrific, but the partnership with Microlise is a very big deal. | michaelmouse
06/12/2018 07:45 | What do you make of this Dave? Genuinely interested. You seem to provide good and fairly balanced insight ..even if you do come across a little jaded at times. | knowbodyyouno
06/12/2018 07:44 | At the presentation conducted by the company back in September (on youtube) Watkins said he didn't think the company needed more funds. No credibility. | chrisha100
06/12/2018 07:42 | Not saying it is not reassuring news but how did we get here, share dilution based on a single point of failure. Like Blondeamon states, 20% stake gives microlise some power over JW. | dc2
06/12/2018 07:31 | Directors sticking in another £700,000 and Microlise a key strategic investor both at 22p. Excellent. | michaelmouse
06/12/2018 07:28 | Equity raise of £3m at 22% premium (22p) and a partnership with Microlise which will "lead to stronger growth and increased opportunities for the Group both immediately and in the mid-term". Lovely news after the disappointing interims!!! :) I do hope investors bought additional shares at the depressed prices? ;) | michaelmouse
05/12/2018 16:18 | Agreed, Vision Track appear to buy their products from China and just integrate [not sure why Trakm8 don't]. As for the link, so many companies out there. | dc2
05/12/2018 14:59 | I suppose telematics can be sold as a suite of packages which can work in those firms favour who offer a suite. E.g. If you have Route optimisation with Route Monkey then if you later want telematics and camera solutions it makes sense to add them as part of a suite with your current supplier, in this case Trakm8. Mind you you don't necessarily have to have all your own in house products to offer a suite. I'm stating the obvious but suite products can be white labelled. Just stumbled across this company and an initial glance suggests they take this principle further. Remote temperature tracking to boot. | dave2608
05/12/2018 13:32 | Other challenges include persuading the unions to allow in-cab footage. It sounds a great idea BUT I am very much in favour of giving drivers privacy. The VT/Smartwitness cameras all offer tracking so I guess you would have two trackers in the van. As an aside, when I said that Trakm8 offer more than just basic tracking I mentally noted that the DMS4/5 protocol used by VT and co uploads a historic trail that is much better resolution than timed updates [it does that as well]. Not sure that trakm8's TEDs protocol does (it has been a while since I used it though). | dc2 |
