There will be many buyers at these levels based on 3 days rising charts etc

It will be interesting to see who has picked up the cleared out stock. Wouldn't totally surprise me if some corporate action might be afoot. A potential bidder perhaps. Could equally be director buying as well. My money is on the former though.

I think you may be right - not trying to jinx it but no nasty RNSs, no major holders crossing thresholds (in either direction) and volumes returning to normal. Does seem like business as usual after a period of frenzy.

Its a long long road but it feels like we have hit the bottom and the only way is up, with silence from the BOD

Yes as soon as I asked the question, I thought - of course, it's not intangible, by definition, it's not.

Just an early morning reactionary question, I'm afraid.

Have any of you considered D4t4? DYOR of course but you're probably going to have to be quick as their interims are out tomorrow and they look like they are going to be spectacular. All IMHO of course.

Ok I've done the maths for you: £102,000 / 36,000,000 shares = 0.283p per share.

£102,000, current market cap £5.95 million. How much value does that amount to per share? Not a lot.

You shouldn't need to ask that question KBYK. But no, it's an intangible. Net book value for IP as at 30 September 2018 is showing as £102,000. Hardly confidence inspiring is it? Net book value for development costs is £8,503,000 for the same date. Maybe they might seek to get some of the results of these development costs IPed? If there is indeed such a word as IPed.

If someone came up with an offer like they did for the other lame duck, FLYB, I'd jump on it. IMO TRAKM8 is a case of technicians unable to run a business. They have a good product but haven't known how to moneytise it - For that type of know-how look at FUTR.

Gimme 40p each for my shares & I'll grab it & take the hit, over & out.

What you are describing is a Mobile Workforce Platform and the problem is Trakm8 on have the vehicle bit.
The back end office package and workflow mobile apps are very industry specific and very often company specific. However, you are right these end to end systems have very high customer retention.

Dave2608Indeed. They cannot compete in this niche where you have these players that can focus resources. Take TomTom - over 20 years via the German company Datafactory to develop their device independent tracking platform. Then they integrated to the driver interfaces and that started the TomTom partnership and acquisition. The key here is that you don't just install a black box or dongle but have an integrated system with driver input and key backoffice links: the value there is that companies rely on your tech for more than just vehicle location.

Very true about minnows EmptyCup. One day it occurred to me. "How the hell can Trakm8 compete against the likes of say TomTom Telematics? I couldn't come up with an answer. I don't know exactly what TomToms revenues are. They must in excess of a £1 billion a year. Then I thought if Trakm8 invest 10% if their revenues in R & D, 10% of 20 something million is 2 something million. If TomTom did the same that's a 100 million in R & D. If TomTom did just 2% that's 20 million. There's no comparison.

I used to be as optimistic as blondeamon. Then I had my epiphany moment and now I view everything that comes out through the lens of "is this actually credible?"

Mix, Greenroad, Lynx, Mobileye focus on the market of telematics and ADAS (not all do both) Trak are minows in this. Their sales team know this - one of them came from GR I think. It is a specialist sale and takes a huge amount of end user knowledge to get it right. The ADAS tech than roadhawk has needs proving imo. One video of it as part of the AR does little to secure confidence. They should get some third party confidence in it - an OE being the best.

I'm ok knowbodyyouknow. I took my huge loss on this share, 70%, a while back. I got so sucked in I invested over a third of my portfolio in the thing. That huge loss kinda sharpened the mind a bit and I've kept an eye on the story ever since.

How many of those 161 revues are genuine? Maybe there's the odd Trakm8 shareholder making up a revue? I take your point though about a glimmer courtesy of the AA. Trakm8
shareholders are now willing on the AA as both companies fortunes are now linked to a degree. Hope for their sakes it's not a bad winter with no end of extra callouts for the AA.

If there's a glimmer for Trak it's the connected car (car genie) product. This has some momentum it would seem, 161 reviews now on google play. Are The AA now rolling it out more aggressively? Looking at that presentation from Trak in Sept, they're projected to have about 500,000 of their estimated 1 million installs in auto (car genie?) by end 2020. Though of course those forecasts need to be taken with a pinch of salt.

I'm not sure how strong Trak's competitive position is outside of connected car. What's the differentiator between say Roadhawk600 and offerings from much larger players such as Mix Telematatics, Fleetmatics etc. Also, trying to do ADAS in house looks v ambitious and is attempting re-invent the wheel in a sense. It will cost a lot of money and is also complete bonkers given they're many years behind on this. Much better to partner with ADAS players.
