17/11/2017 19:47 | Bob Holt Wonder if he will buy more shares in TLY | grahamwales
17/11/2017 15:37 | Don't forget its the NHS that has had a freeze on pay not the private sector. | grahamwales
17/11/2017 15:36 | Where appropriate and in line with the interests of patients and the public, Somerset CCG will consider, by way of variation, modifying existing contracts to meet the new guidance within the new NHS England Integrated Urgent Care Service Specifications. Might just be me but that suggests they may actually be looking at increasing the funding for Vocare to meet the new guidelines. | grahamwales
17/11/2017 14:59 | 12% hike is a huge expense for the NHS... Increase taxes and more austerity to pay for it??? Budget next week, let's see... | sikhthetech
17/11/2017 13:47 | Looks as though this might be theshape of things to come in the UK - If so then probably incresed costs and lover levels of patient care for both the NHS and all independent and out sourced conractors - Effect on bottom line ?? Guy Hands: UK must learn from Guernsey's immigration woes "Mr Hands says Four Seasons also faces a 12% hike in the price of paying skilled nurses - EU nurse applications have dropped by 96% since the Brexit vote." | pugugly
17/11/2017 12:48 | Physio 'first contact' service set to be rolled out next year in GP practices "How it could work Around a fifth of all GP consultations are for musculoskeletal skeletal conditions and the idea behind 'first contact' schemes is that these patients may benefit from seeing a physiotherapist instead. The most successful models involve 'first contact' physiotherapists working within the GP practice team and also being part of a larger physiotherapy service in a secondary care or community setting to ensure they are adequately supervised." | sikhthetech
17/11/2017 11:29 | Certainly ties in with what the BOD have been telling us. Looks like it's been a nationwide problem hence why they have changed across the country. | grahamwales
17/11/2017 11:06 | Graham, good find... Practices are merging practices and smaller ones are closing.... Likewise, NHS England plans are for 'Integrated care'... 1 Provider for NHS111, Walk in and UCC... The local health bodies, CCGs don't have a choice but to follow national guidelines... From your post above.. "The ‘Integrated Urgent Care Specification’ will support a new way of working which is expected to see improvements with NHS 111 and GP OOH. Somerset CCG is working with Vocare Limited to implement the specification." | sikhthetech
17/11/2017 08:02 | Opo Judging by your posts the only thing you do seem to buy is shorts. Keep your short open at least until beginning of next month. :-) | grahamwales
17/11/2017 07:38 | Sounds like they are working towards an integrated system which may have been a problem across the country not just with Vocare. Targets are not being met across England and looks like they have had staffing problems during peak summer months possibly holiday cover. NHS England has, on 24 August 2017, published a paper ‘Integrated Urgent Care Specification’ which encompasses the traditional NHS 111 service and the GP OOH service into one fully integrated service. This combined service, in addition to this integration, adds a Clinical Assessment Service (CAS). The CAS would add an extra layer of staff who would provide specialised clinical assessments. These assessments offer patients, by phone, the opportunity to either have their care concluded during the call or are referred into the most appropriate service for their care needs to be concluded. The ‘Integrated Urgent Care Specification’ will support a new way of working which is expected to see improvements with NHS 111 and GP OOH. Somerset CCG is working with Vocare Limited to implement the specification. | grahamwales
16/11/2017 16:07 | August revisit in Somerset, again before Totally took over and possibly the reason for the delay. Hopefully further improvements have taken place although patients reviews put them above the national average. | grahamwales
16/11/2017 12:15 | Where TLY are: "New guidance this year for the commissioning of integrated urgent care services by the NHS will make them even more important." "At present, the clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) that award contracts for the NHS can put out to tender each of the 111 helpline, urgent care and out-of hours GP services separately, which usually results in different providers for each service. Going forward, CCGs have to tender for Integrated Urgent Care Services and therefore a single organisation will be able to provide all three services." and NHS Integrated Care Spec, published recently, Aug 2017 (thanks to graham, posted on Lse): | sikhthetech
16/11/2017 12:07 | larva, lol....not as worrying as MKS, eh!! I know a stalker who recently bought MKS and is short on TLY... anyway, enjoy shorting this... lol | sikhthetech
16/11/2017 12:05 | Good time to buy, very cheap at the moment will we get some traders in I wonder hopefully not. | grahamwales
16/11/2017 12:03 | drip drip drip *BANG* 20p with a profit warning imho | larva
16/11/2017 11:38 | Will warn on profits and then 20p or less graham The constant drop here is very worrying | larva
16/11/2017 11:19 | Sikh Certainly looking like they are closing the smaller surgeries and pushing people to use the 111 system. I notice they have closed one in Somerset recently hence why they may be offering help with the service down there | grahamwales
16/11/2017 11:15 | Haha if they do then it will to buy another company. However think they have enough cash to do that as well at the moment. How's GMD doing. Not finished there yet get out of there while you still got some cash left | grahamwales
16/11/2017 11:04 | Needs a placing of cash | larva
16/11/2017 10:54 | If the local GP can't offer any appts or closes, where would the patients go??? The healthcare system must change and is indeed changing.... Health problems will always be there, there will always be a demand for clinical advice.. | sikhthetech
16/11/2017 10:42 | Banbury Health Centre under closure threat | sikhthetech
16/11/2017 09:16 | The CCG says that too few patients use it and that many who do can go elsewhere for help, including to a local pharmacy, or can call NHS 111. | grahamwales
16/11/2017 09:12 | Sounds like more contracts to come for urgent care and 111 providers. | grahamwales |
