This is one of those RNS's that surprises the market forcing the drop. Once it slowly gets dissected realisation of its true meaning will see a positive reaction. A more thorough Rns would have eradicated some of the need for head scratching! Imo

That is because people with half a brain or more i.e not WILSON2 Fenners, Lopodop or The Diddymen see a previously unidentified new income stream.

So now we have the oil, the sand and now another entity wanting in on the land to drill.

Contracts being drawn up is the delay, nothing more.

Stuart any sane person wants a project to work, but people's feet need to be firmly on the ground. The chances of success on this one is minimal, even if funding is achieved. There is a risk reward factor but there is too much narrative in this one.

You rmart damac and others know that this side of the fence was saying that a fudge was the most likely outcome, and fudge it was. A little credit is due for that prediction.

The 'enter stage right' moment has set the hounds off on another false scent. It has strong overtones of a narrative running out of control. I cannot dismiss an enter stage right moment absolutely, but you can only cry wolf for so long. In my view the Board would have been better to have faced up to shareholders. The narrative needs cash to have a chance and a placing would have been better. 50% of something is better than 100% of nothing.

A missed opportunity in my book. Now the RNS is out the Directors could purchase shares. Don't hold your breath waiting for the disclosure!

Busa, I tried using that map earlier but it gave me a headache lol.

All I could initially find was that ML54004-OBA, which is adjacent to TS2 on the North, West & South, is currently leased by a company called New Day Energy Development.....

The share price may have dipped a bit but the sells appear to be being gratefully mopped up.

It is great that due diligence has been completed, why keep the results a secret? Shareholders have a right to know the Results put them on an rns or on the company website. It is not difficult.

760 acres has been up for sale for 5 years , since the last operator went bust.

Note "operator" they actually did stuff

I think its time to have a guess at TOMs cash position....

SOME investors are intelligent and will ignore your comments. Why don't you relax and let this share take its obvious course - watch out for the placing! GODBYE!

WILSON2, FENNERS AND LOPODOP. Again the same old same old from the 3 stooges. Ken Dodd will chip in soon too.

We have had a 60% rise, and we get a 10% drop back on a 6 week extention and they think its all over ! PATHETIC.

what nobody seems to be grasping is the land we are getting is obvioulsy a VERY GOOD piece of land ! Not only does it have over 50m barrles for us to mine plus the sand, it now has deeper oil sands too.

FFS, people are so fickle.

Also over 760 acres I'm sure there's more than a 5 well play for these deeper zones....

If adjacent land owner has a strong seam running into the neighbors land they will want to know how far it goes.
hence the drilling.
And it may be a small section of our lease is sold off.
but at what price

$500,000 write off - looking remarkably like REFORM ENERGY PLC ICVL - look at the file at CH. Definitely a share for simple folk. Those that think will avoid. Don't forget placing - how much and what price ?

Whilst they build the plant for the shallower plays.....could these deeper plays cover some of the large funding or at least cover working capital? both of which is a game changer for tomco.
