25/9/2021 19:49 | Which regular contributors are sceptical? Name them. Not that it matters, but point them out. Oh and I think there may be a small December placing. I'm fine with that. | ![]() stuart little
25/9/2021 19:38 | Stuart A number of contributors are sceptical. The market may be sceptical. A placing may be on the cards next week - perhaps or in October perhaps. At this moment who knows. | ![]() lopodop
25/9/2021 18:49 | And do YOU know for fact that a placing is being worked? The one you and Diddy have been quoting hourly for the last months? Is that factual? | ![]() stuart little
25/9/2021 18:44 | You simply have zero idea what the likely course will be. You cannot see passed your own short sightedness. You have made some very poor assumptions. | ![]() stuart little
25/9/2021 18:39 | SL Do you know that for a fact - no placing that is. It could be sprung on the market in an attempt to satiate whoever the funders are! Stuart, the likely course will be to buy Time till October - negotiations almost finished and a few outstanding DD points. Everyone working feverishly at TOM and yes very excited. That might keep players happy! | ![]() lopodop
25/9/2021 18:24 | I wonder how much longer PQE will be suspended, As would like to take another 500k | ![]() vauch
25/9/2021 18:09 | No placing is currently being worked for Tomco. Therefore no placing could be concluded and settled in time for month end. Other funding options for the land deal, thus protected working capital, may be available. Now that would pee on your bonfire would it not. Like you said yesterday, but ignored, why not wait for the answers. Have a few days off, all should be revealed. | ![]() stuart little
25/9/2021 17:46 | Jaynealex TOM will not dare paying 10% from its resources without a very large placing being executed this coming week; the directors would face very serious charges of wrecklessness quite apart from the obvious. No finance house will conclude a deal with TOM based on its present balance sheet let alone all the Other factors that do not stack up. To start talking about an exit figure now, you must be bonkers. | ![]() lopodop
25/9/2021 17:04 | I can't wait for Monday and next week. Didn't they say .. this month .. if so by Thursday. Three weeks would be up by next Friday. | ![]() ducky fuzz
25/9/2021 14:58 | Listen to jaynealex on the other thread and it is easy. Pay the deposit, raise the $110m - whatever, and bob is your uncle, you can start to discount the cashflows. It just does not work like that. Should TOM ever defy the very stiff odds against the placing and then raising the cash, they still have the small technical problem of organising the delivery of the equipment and to get it to work. This is a one in a thousand chance. Existing shareholders have minimal risk, theirs is dead money. 100% of the risk sits with the new equity and the financing and if relevant will be priced accordingly. | ![]() the diddymen
25/9/2021 14:42 | An share price should always reflect the long term cash flows and therefore NPV of a company ...once we've paid the 10% deposit and secured the lease and defacto the long term finance ...these long term cash flows absolutely step change for Tom and the share price should rise significantly That's why previously I've been saying we need a broker note Each step along the way ...so say we get the finance agreed totally by the end of the year ...firms up those cash flows and the expected value of them increases ( ie less discounted for risk ) The danger of any early bid is that heads can be turned with a low offer from a predator who knows the end game NPV ..but my bidding now gets it at a fraction of that price That's why I hope the controlling interest doesn't want that quick an exit or will hold firm for a realistic takeout price | ![]() jaynealex
25/9/2021 12:47 | Irrelevant comment Vauch. | ![]() the diddymen
25/9/2021 12:32 | Especially if Valkor are raising their own cash to take Petroteq. | ![]() busamitch
25/9/2021 12:06 | If the board had a little skin in the game then this board would say they still dont have enough in it | ![]() vauch
25/9/2021 12:01 | Valkor taking a 29% position is hopefully the insurance policy against anyone mounting a bid, always assuming they are looking at a long term game plan with many plants. If this happens the the Tomco share price will look very tasty indeed imho ;) | ![]() ajj2003
25/9/2021 11:56 | Cant see an exit price as us longs want to see the plant up and running. But some will exit all along the way I just hope we are not taken out before we have a full up and running plant. | ![]() vauch
25/9/2021 11:53 | Vauch nobody in their right mind would short this share. Small cap and at risk of ramping. As I have said previously, well done if you have called it right. As I have also said this share is a basket case with a narrative. The narrative might have legs - no one has seen the FEED, and the quality of the FEED is a critical factor. The other critical factor is financing. The financier will take 100% of the risk on delivery. TOM have no risk on delivery (apart from losing what they do not currently have). Any financing function therefore has to be certain that the management can deliver. TOM simply cannot deliver the level of confidence required to finance this project. A bit of skin in the game from the Board of Directors might have a little influence. | ![]() the diddymen
25/9/2021 11:02 | OH VAUCH If you are wrong, how much will you have to write off? And you'll get precious sympathy from the Board and its advisers - factors outside our control no doubt. | ![]() lopodop
25/9/2021 10:27 | Anyone set a fair value or exit price ? | ![]() mwainw1973
25/9/2021 10:04 | Don’t baffle his brain with warrants talk Vauch, he won’t know what that means! | rmart
25/9/2021 10:02 | Give it next week DF and it will be overflowing | ![]() vauch
25/9/2021 10:01 | I love the way they cant see this needed to be 10% owned to get financing. And tom will have all profits after expenses and royalties. All the holders in this are well aware of this thread having a shorting agenda but the scales have now tipped and if you have not closed then bigger fool you. We will have the land deal signed this coming week and I sure we will also have news on lenders checking out the pops plat showing prof of working. We are in a different place now and this will have a continual rise well past 1p Which by the way will release warrants and another influx of cash. | ![]() vauch
25/9/2021 10:01 | Just my hunch diddyman, it is public knowledge that the land deal is due by end sept, and yes, I know you will then have to move on to your next pathetic stage of finding something else to grumble about. | rmart
25/9/2021 09:36 | ....and the second that they disclose 'your news' you know that I will be asking how they are going to finance current working capital. I have not checked but I think that the year end is 30/09. They will shortly have to have their capital adequacy statements ready for audit. Placing? | ![]() the diddymen
25/9/2021 09:31 | reichsmart are you disclosing market sensitive information? | ![]() the diddymen |
