srs8 the problem isn't the crazy mum, the problem is the crazy son. The fact that the mum is also crazy is a confirmation that this is definitely not a random occurrence and the crazy runs in the core of the people.

Bob, don't hold on your shares for too long. You've been holding since, now unthinkable, highs. If you do, definitely go for the water-proof makeup :).

Well they are already in these markets as a result of acquisitions, what I would really like to know is how the remaining investors from the IPO feel about the situation, Sofina one I have harked on about before.

And lets not forget Brexit. I'm neutral on Brexit overall, it definitely will hit companies like THG. The UK is 70 million people. The EU is 500 ad the US another 350. These are the places where makeup and cosmetics is sold en-masse, especially the fat margin stuff.

Taking THG private? He just IPOed lol. And who's going to pay more than 200 for this? That's already a 67% premium. Let's assume 100% premium - that's 260 as a ceiling on takeover price.

Why does he talk of taking the company private again with nothing to back his intentions. A waiting game maybe, but just another gimmick to try and maintain some credibility.

Always said that he needs to appoint a CEO with clout, and he can act as COO., he is simply not suitable after all that has occurred. I still believe that he has the will to correct the misunderstandings between analysts and the company, but there is far more at stake now than six months ago. Until we have a real set of figures it seems the valuation is stuck in limbo.

The unfortunate thing is that Moulding is beset with hubris, when you believe analysts and journalists are deliberately chastising you for being blasé, it is time to look in the rear view mirror. He has shown contempt for the reporting on this company, and that is why I believe it is proving challenging to appoint a non-exec chairman. Scrutiny has been at issue, but this is what THG needs, Moulding is no Jobs, Musk or Ellison. He is just another guy who happened to have an idea, but has been dragged along by the valuations placed in the run-up to IPO.

Bookbroker I hope so. They spent £1 billion in the last 12 months. Let's hope they don't burn through the remaining cash and have to raise any time soon because I don't like the prospects of a dilution at these prices.

Well, at least this company has some cash remaining, let’s hope that Moulding has the sense to use it wisely, and instead of throwing it around, conserves it and makes the company more efficient in the drive to profitability. Rather than just building the business at this time he exploits these supposed great brands and the marketplace in which they operate to generate a real return.

Bank of England intererest rate decission at 12.am any rise will knock markets and forecasta are the BOE will move either 0.10% or 0.25% which will be worse and which will hit consumer spend.

Only thing that's tragic is THGs share price. Look at it. But you losers jump on every dead cat bounce like kids when the ice-cream man comes around, forgetting that every time you get his ice-cream, you get a stomach ache. Then you make excuses "It's not the ice-cream, it must be something else. Can't be that ice-cream. Let's get more."

How are people going to spend on supplements and makeup when they are spending all of their diminishing income on the heating, food, rent and other cost of living expenses? Do you really believe MM when he claimed THGs products are the last thing consumers cut out? Do you really believe families will drop heating and electricity or housing or food before dropping makeup and supplements? Good luck with this thesis - got more chance winning the lottery. What follows for THG, Boo, Asos is revenue misses and margin compression.

Oh, and rates going up will flatten this like a pancake. You see all the tech stocks which went up a few hundred percent in 2020 and part of 2021 and are now collapsing like the cheap tents you guys live in under a bridge? THG is the same. You just don't have the price history before 2020-Sept so you can't see the boom - you're just seeing the bust.
