This share price will recover on the current numbers as the shorters move on in a few months if the company continues to expand at its current rate for a few years could be the next Amazon then what price the share certainly for me 10 pounds isn't out of the question

The thing for me with THG is I believe they need a new CEO and not a new Chairman. I think BLDM was calling for this and he is right.

Talking of smashing targets I found this over on LSE chat:

THG Ingenuity extract from Jan 2022 webcast:
-----
The Position then with Ingenuity Commerce the annual growth rate was 135% we delivered over 15 million revenue in the quarter which was over 30% higher than our previous record quarter.
In terms of the key stats that we would pull out, we increase the number of live websites to 187, which is a 100 up in the year.
The recurring revenue per website increased to £240,000 pounds, the recurring revenue mix was at 72%, now our new revenue run rate has increased to 61 million.
Now those stats reflect how successful J&V growth was with our clients in the quarter.
In addition, although we don't mention anything specifically ourselves, you may have picked out the Matalan press release. Where will be working with them on their digital revolution?
I would put a substantial amount of work into winning substantial clients like that, although none of the revenue on that account will be recognised in this year. That will start to kick in quarter one, along with other substantial wins that we have got.
And I remind everyone in terms of guidance for 2022 of 108 to 112 million, that's predicated on launching 400 and taking a number of client solutions to 400 from the 109 that we have got at the moment.
Which is 85% of those contracts that are already contracted with us. It assumes a recurring revenue per website of £170,000 pounds and a recurring revenue mix of 60% so it doesn't include any of the new business that we currently can win, have won, and expect to win later in the year.
We are super confident on the numbers for 2022 and very proud of the growth that we've delivered in the success of working with our clients in 2021.
-----
They are smashing it!!! and this part of the business, Ingenuity, is currently priced at ZERO!!

This is the best bit:
'It doesn't include any of the new business that we currently can win, have won, and expect to win later in the year'

Let me remind you of what RBC said last week:
"We project that Ingenuity Commerce could increase tenfold to £0.5bn of revenue in five years, with at an EBITDA margin of around 60%, drives our discounted cashflow valuation for the segment of £4.4bn. Yet the market is attributing no value at all."

RBC added that it did not expect Softbank to walk away.

Can't wait for the next update :)

Has the market got it wrong?

The company hasn't changed since IPO in fact it is smashing targets. Would you rather pay £8.00 a share or £1.30? Same company different share price?

What is the old saying 'the best time to invest is when there is blood on the floor' THG is currently 10p off its low.

All IMHO of course.

From Debby Downer "the bigger the organization the more difficult it is to make money"
Our resident brain of britain and troll has clearly never even of basic economics such as economy of scale
Gosh Debs - they even alluded to it in the Q4 call regarding buying power
Although I guess you were too busy underneath your bridge, to listen

Agree the High St is dying thankfully THG is ecommerce so benefits from thr reduced footfall. Also, if you listen to the latest THG webcast they have things in place to protect supply issues and price increases. Agree EBITDA is everything and that is why Ingenuity 60% EBITDA, 100%YOY growth plus 4.5 billion valuation in 5 years is very exciting. Easy set up with unlimited global customers no wonder softBank are interested.

Supply issues hitting Joules and they warn on price hikes for Easter stock but with consumers facing an average £1,200 worse off says the resolution foundation less money for retail.

There is only so much money in circulation but less of going into retail due to cost of energy costs.

The bigger the company the more difficult it is to make money, I sense a reorganisation at some stage when the compnay finds they struggle to make a profit.

Dont listen to all that profits before EBITDA it can mean nonsense its profits after those factors that need to be concentrating on. Clevar accountancy can distort the true level of profits and we know they have had dodgy accountancy previously.

A buyback would not necessarily be what i would want to see as it would show no growth ambition however if one sees the incremental benefit through to eps and concentration on undervalued assets why not? Seems rather fashionable in the US!

A buy back will not happen.
Stupid use of cash at this stage in the companies journey.

I bought back in yesterday

Wonder if they may consider share buyback if they think the business significantly undervalued? Would be more aggressive to acquire bricks and mortar retail and integrate e-commerce skills..or demerge some retail opporations and concentrate te core on the platform. The company has options and needs to get back on the front foot."Total cash of over GBP530m at year end plus an undrawn facility of GBP170m, on long dated 3-5 year terms."

Am happy here will come good eventually, meanwhile...
Bought a few of these, total punt, and my smallest stake (ie an amount I won't miss) on the line.
Minoan Plc (MIN)
Time will tell but a nice story, fingers crossed.
They seem to keep issuing new shares to tide them over until they hit the jackpot, or not I guess.
My money, my risk (ie I could lose it all)
