15/4/2024 07:01 | 10) TESCO (FTSE100) Tesco's financial results for the financial year to February 24, just published, made for impressive reading. Profits nearly tripled to £2.3billion, with the dividend for the year increasing 11 per cent to 12.1p a share. Sam North, market analyst at trading platform eToro, says the country's leading supermarket (by market share) is historically undervalued by the stock market. His view is that the shares, currently priced at £2.82, could hit £3.50 in the 'medium term.' If so, it would be the first time the shares have traded at such a level since July 2014. The dividend yield is 4.3 per cent. | freddie01

14/4/2024 07:33 | Clive Tesco the recent rally, only commenced because inflation was predicted to fall and shoppers would have more money to spend in their pockets. All and sundry were telling you, including the Tesco Guvnor. I listen to no body. I look at the US 10 year and Oil nothing else. The rest is my opinion. Months before this latest Middle East escalation I started the chuzzlewits inflation indicator. How anyone can think inflation is going down when petrol had risen 10p a litre over about 12 weeks, is beyond me! The fact that slow Joe and the EU Commission muppets tell you it is, that is just their wish. The fascist EU as far as I can remember has been wrong for at least 30 years. The oil price will obviously rocket in price I would imagine at open. The holiday season is about to commence. Slow Joe could dump a load on the market from the strategic reserve but politically that would perhaps be suicidal. Superior will once again bask in correctness. TRUMP2024 SS | superiorshares

13/4/2024 23:20 | That is probably why Shell, BP and Centrica are now rising - in anticipation of more profit to come. How long though will it take Tescos to rise above the magical £3 price, a week, a month or longer. ? They haven't done to well of late, except for the recent spark, which has now gone out. | clive7878
